Tassimo by Bosch My Way 2 Pod Coffee Machine, TAS6502GB, Black

Very easy to use. I love the fact that you can choose your cup size, the intensity of your chosen coffee and that you can also choose the temperature. I just love it. The size of the water tank is big, I get quite a few cups out of it.

It arrived a day earlier than originally estimated so I'm not complaining. It's easy to use, makes great coffee and I use it quite often (though I've only had it for a week now). I bought a reusable pod so I can use my own coffee blend and it's just perfect. It is a little bit loud but I doubt there's a coffee machine that's absolutely silent and basides the level of noise shouldn't really bother anyone that much as it only lasts, what 1 minute, if that, to make a coffee. It's definitely worth every penny in my opinion. The great thing as well is that you can adjust the temperature of the drink so if you want it hotter than your normal hot, it does it but don't expect "hell" level hot, even if this machine is good, it's not a pro-level machine. You can also save up to 4 ways you want to make a coffee as well as how strong you want it and it is all touch screen so it's bound to do what you need it to do. The instructions are so basic, literally just pictures so again, you genuinely can't go wrong with how to use it or how to clean it. :) Either way, 5 stars from me.

Drink tea in he week but fancied something different for the weekend so bought the my way 2. Have had a latte and 100% Colombian coffee and it’s bloody lovely I am very impressed and would recommend it to anyone. I did wait though till the price was £65.

Great product, works great. Good settings for the coffee and super easy to use. The ready coffee is very hot and I like it. The only downside is the tassimo coffee which is hard to find a good variety of the coffee and sizes. Moreover the machine is not campatible with other coffee pads or capsules. So is a bit of being exlusive to one brand (tassimo) but still good value for money. The offer of 60 coffee capsules per purchase was great too.

This is great as we can now modify our drinks to our own tastes and even save the settings. My other half used to make a coffee then put it in the microwave since he said adding cold milk to it made it to cold for his liking. This has solved the problem as now we can make it extra hot and it solves that issue. Also my mother who always insists on “just a small coffee” previously had to put up with what she got as we buy the XL americanos, but now I can select a smaller drink and that means less of it going down the sink when it gets left. And then I also like my drinks to be larger since I don’t like strong coffee so now I can make mine bigger and less intense & that works well for me. My only complaint is that the coffee tends to splash up the machine (maybe I need to raise the mugs up more) and being the white model, stands out pretty bad. Not an issue to clean since it easily wipes off but that is the only downside I’ve found to it. I like the water container on the back as it means I don’t have to keep filling it every time I want to make more than 2 drinks as this one holds more. It even has a slot for a water filter in it if you want to use that. It fits the same filters as our Brita tank but if we wanted to save the money on filters we could just use filtered water out of our other brita instead. I picked mine up during a sale so was happy with the price, but at full price it’s not something I’d consider.

Initially, i've got a black color Bosch Tassimo My Way back in 2019 - which served graciously and added colour and flavour to our mornings for several years! Then, I've cleaned it up like new and sent to my parents while got a new, white one, My Way 2 - which is pretty much the same coffee machine, just now comes with a filter. Let me summarize my years of experience in few key points: Good stuff: 1. Convenience and versatility. Guys, I've had different types of coffee machines, but in term of convenience none come close to capsule coffee machines. It's clean, no mess with beans and residue. Capsule in, water in - click of a button and your morning joy is ready! And this convenience multiplies as you do the same with milk based coffees as milk is also in a capsule - just easy! 2. Coffee taste & variety. Oh, big time! First of all you have a quite wide variety of coffees and brands. We like many but one of the favourites are the columbian and flat white from Kenco. Generally you can find some nice coffee for any taste. We've had very sceptical friends who have a high end beans coffee machine, saying that they were surprised the coffee tasted quite good for a capsule, budget machine and especially impressed by milk based ones. 3. Flexibility over simple, one button ones. What we both love with my wife is that with My Way you can choose coffee strength, amount of water and temperature and they are not fake! The differences, especially the strength varies with different coffee types (the result) but it definitely can be felt! 4. Cleaning and maintenance. Easy. Once you done your coffees for the day, you insert and orange plastic disk that comes with the machine instead of a capsule, press a button, it runs hot water through and voila, that's it! Easy. When comes to descaling - also easy and straight forward especially if you watch a short video. By the way, for a deeper cleaning, several parts also simply pop out so you can wash them in hot water. Note that some coffee residue hardens and needs a bit of soaking to make washing easier. 5. Size and look. Despite not being so narrow like other sunny models or some other brands, My Way looks bulky but trust me, if you've seen before some coffee beans machines, this one is really small, quite light and does not take a lot of your valuable countertop space. We have a small kitchen and this is really a win. Ah yes - subjective but I really like the looks too. 6. Quality and durability. Almost 7 years of daily work for the first My Way I bought I think is a solid reliability argument :). It's Bosch. TO NOTE: Price for the pods/capsules. - Generally, you have to pay a bit for the convenience. And what I mean is that long term, beans coffee machines might be cheaper. They are more expensive to buy and maintain but when comes to beans and how much coffee you get - they are. Here, the machine is cheap, bur capsules go up in price in time. In fairness we still catch them always on discounts in stores and watch for discounts + the black coffee is a great deal as you get 16 in a pack, while milk based ones are 8 coffee and 8 milk. Still, beans, unless you buy some expensive luxury ones - would probably turn out cheaper in long run, if we speak years. It's not silent but not noisier than beans coffee machines with their grinders - so this is not bothering us at all. Well, unless you got small kids that are super light sleepers then, yeah, everything is noisy indeed. So to summarise, after all I confidently can say it is a brilliant coffee machine that makes it easy and fast to get those cups of joy in our busy lives. I bought a new coffee machine because the old one wasn't always making coffee from capsules properly. I'd insert a capsule, but it would clog up and no coffee would come out. I bought a new one, and it has the same problem. I don't recommend it to anyone because I now have an old coffee machine and a new one with the same problem, and I don't know how to contact support to fix it.
