I got the gist of it from the instructions then worked it out for myself. If you have a specific question someone who has the machine should be able to answer your questions. * You do not have to use a britta filter but you will need to descale more often. * To set a program press the strength of your preferred drink then press the size of cup you prefer then keeping your finger on one of the numbered buttons until the lights on the top and right of the panel go off then on again then you have programed your preferred strength and cup size then remove your finger. * Once you have set your program you can then press the number then the big button in the centre for your selected drink strength and cup size.
