which they all enjoyed.
My 7 year old loves this book. He is familiar with the Lord of the Rings series and a fan of Minecraft. This was a way to combine the two in something he could read at his level. He ended up reading this book to his 1st grade, which they all enjoyed.

AMAZING!! When is book 2?!!
My 7 yo. son loves both LOTR/Hobbit & Minecraft so this book was the perfect combination! It was absolutely excellent. But, seriously - WHEN IS BOOK TWO?!!We have been eagerly waiting for a year & a half now, while they pump out 12 "diary" and other books. The end of Book One is a cliff hanger & promises a kid Book Two, but has yet to deliver. It's almost as if they forgot about this gem! Hopefully it is in the works or I'll end up writing my own! Can't wait, excellent book!

Could Be Better
The Mobbit is a Minecraft inspired version of the best selling Hobbit series. It tells the story of a Mobbit named Steve who is sent on a quest to defeat the Ender Dragon ( Smaug ) with a company of runts or dwarves. It is an ok minecraft novel yet I simply don't think it makes the reader become engrossed and I would not recommend this book in 100 years. Along with this the story is extremely short and the author used very little adjectives etc to deliver a detailed picture which made it a very disappointing read. However the book may be suitable to younger readers who perhaps have never played the game or now very little about it therefore it might be appealing to parents who are being harassed by their children to get them a minecraft novel.I would not recommend this book to an overwhelming majority of you yet a specific audience may enjoy the story. All in all it was a disappointing read and Hobbit and Minecraft fans alike will be up in arms about the quality of the novel.By Toby aged 11

It made us smile
Grandson loved it. A clever book for children of a certain age, it made us laugh, lot of puns but you possibly need to have read the original to appreciate in full.
