This was great for the history and geography of Korea. It it at a college level and should be accompanied with another history of Korea to get the full picture of the history of Korea. The maps are good.

Very good book!
Because of the few receptions I was skeptical at the beginning, I read more about the book and then I wanted it.The writing is nice to read, the pictures are good and it is very clear. I haven't started reading the book yet, but I'm really looking forward to it now.I am glad to have found and bought this book and can recommend it to everyone.Sehr gutes BuchAufgrund der wenigen Retzeptionen war ich anfangs skeptisch, doch je mehr ich über das Buch gelesen habe desto mehr wollt ich es haben.Die schrift ist schön zu lesen, die Bilder sind gut und es ist sehr übersichtlich. Not just maps - a must-have reference IMO
I absolutely love this book. If you are interested in Korean history I’d say it’s a must-have reference. Even if you’re only into historical dramas, you’ll find some useful information to put them into historical context. I use it all the time. There are lots of maps, but also things like the reigning kings with dates and descriptions of major events.
