I have not put installed these as yet, but the reviews state it is a good quality item

I was a little unsure about this when it arrived, but went ahead and tried. The unit is plastic, but well constructed. The brackets are easily bendable, but in the end, that was perfect. I installed this on a 2008 Suzuki XL7. A replacement OEM was about $350-$400 plus labor. Following guides on youtube, I was able to get the door trim off easily enough. The hardest two parts of installation was figuring out where to mount and which wires to hook to. I actually was able to mount the unit in a hole in part of the inner metal work without any modification or drilling. I simply used two of the screws holding it into mount the bracket. Luckily, the brackets were bendable and I could shape it to the counter of the inner metal work. The wiring was the difficult part. I had a hard time trying to locate diagrams for wiring and in the end, it was trial and error. The wiring kind of made sense some, but if you want to know- Green to gray and Blue to orange is what worked here. I recommend locktite on the connector rod screws. I did have to cut it down to size, but that was easy enough. The connector rod is easy to shape with pliers to the angle you need. Since I was lucky enough on location, no modifications of the door dampener or trim were needed. Took two hours due to wiring and finding location to mount. Knowing what I know now, I could do it in about 30 minutes. All in all, a great and easy fix for a broken actuator. Would definitely use again. Only down side, is I had to use both mounts for one actuator.

It didnt fit my application, but they worked fine when connected to 12v. It was just a little too big to fit.

These actuators can be considered a direct replacement part for the LiftMaster Power Door Lock 041A6102 and LiftMaster Automatic Garage Door Lock 841LM. As far as I can tell, both parts are identical, although the part numbers are different. Here are a few points of interest; To make this repair more effective, consider purchasing a set of 3.9mm bullet connectors and installing them on the Liftmaster door lock wire to make it a quick repair the next time a replacement is needed. These Bullet connectors fit the ones already installed on the replacement actuator. I would also recommend getting a wire crimping tool if you don't already own one for this type of connector. Do a couple of practice crimps with the female bullet connector on some spare wire to get comfortable and DIY this job. Minimal repair aptitude needed, major money saved even if you purchase the items and tool. This is not a sponsored review; I'm just an average customer trying to help someone else not get ripped off. DEFINITELY a 5 star solution!! VERY happy with the end result!!!! Fixed the problem for about $8 in parts and it now works BETTER than when new. Installed on a 2013 Chevy Impala passenger side front door lock to replace intermittent factory part per YouTube video in about 1 hour. Did have to drill a few holes but did not have to remove original part. (Which I hear costs over $100 and takes about 3-4 hours to replace) The electric lock on that door now works more positively than all the others but that’s ok as the kit contains all the parts to do all 4 doors so I will replace the others as they fail. This kit should adapt to nearly any application and can even be installed on cars that do not currently have electric locks. Overall fantastic results!!

One of two work correctly. One was OK but the other one would actuate and freeze. You had to clamp it in a vice and give it a jerk to release it. But when you actuate it and it would freeze again. 4/20/26. Update. I worked with it more and it would jam every time I powered it up. It continued to jam and since it was unusable I just got a little rough with it. I clamped the plastic actuator end in a vice and forced it loose and then slammed it closed several times. I tried it again with power and it’s working. So I had installed the second one and will keep this one as a spare.

There is a youtube video showing how to repair a liftmaster garage lock using this part. It fits perfectly, feels and looks exactly like the original actuator and performs the same. The plastic actuator is the weak link in the Liftmaster auto door lock. A oem replacement costs over 130 dollars from Liftmaster but that includes the entire metal housing, linkages and deadbolt. This plastic acuator costs around 5-8 dollars and takes no more than 30 minutes to replace. Unbolt the lock from the garage door track, remove screws to open the lock housing, replace the actuator, solder the green wire to the white/black and the blue to the solid white and put back together. Done. Cheap, fast, effective. I have no doubt this actuator will break eventually just like the original but I bought a package of 4 so I can do this repair as needed. Even if it only lasts for a year or two, it cannot be beat for the price.

Acheter pour remplacer ceux sur ma vieille auto 2001 que j’entretiens et remiser l’hiver, ceux ci causent court circuit intermittent et trouver originaux presque impossible ou très cher , je n’arrivais pas à croire que je pouvais commander ceux ci à un prix aussi ridicule, sûrement pas aussi durable j’imagine mais je les ai testé fonctionne très bien je suis assez débrouillard en mécanique je vais surement réussir à fitter , dans cas contraire ce qui m’étonnerait je ne regretterai pas cet achat excellente solution de rechange à moins cher qu’un repas au fast food
