Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile (Lyle the Crocodile)

Got for my boys who love the movie. The story was cute but a little off from the movie not sure if it’s supposed to be like that.

Great book

This is a great story but not for beginner readers. It is very long and wordy but amazing for an adult to read for a child. They summed up the story very well.

I don’t have any kids left in the house, but I have a friend named Lyle who I bought it for on his birthday. Lyle is 90!!!!’ and plays tennis twice a week. He loves the book and now reads it to his grandkids!!

I love the story of Lyle the Crocodile. I remember reading this as a child and it was fun to share the tale with my grandgirl. She had me read it so many times that I went back and ordered some of the other stories in the series. Then, we saw a preview that Lyle, Lyle The Crocodile will be in theaters in October. We are stoked!

The follow up to “East 88th Street” now sees the Primm family and their loving crocodile Lyle return with a new problem: their neighbor Mr. Grump and his cat Loretta. It’s another winning book that’ll once again see Lyle bring separated but reunited again with his family, a new friend and learning not to judge a book by its cover, or scales 🐊. <b>A- (91%/Excellent)</b>

Highly recommend buying this for the little ones in your life! They will love it!!

Lovely story set in NY about a crocodile who lives with a family. It’s a bit old fashioned as in the mum shops & cooks all day but my toddler loves it so...

ワニ君と、共に暮らす一家のお話。皆と仲良く暮らすワニ君に降りかかる災難とは？Ｂ５版程度のペーパーバックとカセットのセットを購入。絵本のほうは白黒ベースの多色刷りという感じです。カセットはＡ面にページ繰りの注意音が入った朗読。Ｂ面は注意音無しの朗読と言う構成になっています。お子さんが一人で聞くには注意音がありがたいですよね。私のヒヤリング用には注意音がうっとうしいので助かります。本の活字は読みやすく、分量も程々。ある程度読めるようになったお子さん向けかもしれません。ワニ君、味があって可愛い。好きな本のうちの１冊。
