Bought these to read with my 3 year old daughter to get her on her path to reading. 25 small books. Each book is about 6 pages long and contains one 6 to 8 word sentence and a graphic on each page. The sentences are simple and key words are often repeated throughout the pages. Simple enough to get them to memorize and or predict the words on the page without them actually physically reading the actual words. Recognition is a good first step to reading the actual words these books do a good job of fostering that.I admittedly was apprehensive when I opened the first book because they are so simple. I thought "I could make these myself" but they are working well and my daughter enjoys reading them with me.

I recommend this book as it helped my son in reading. I got all the levels for him.

These are perfect for my kindergarten who needed to practice a little reading over the summer break. They are short enough to where he doesn’t get frustrated and keep his attention.

I purchased these. Ok for my new reader. He is in Kindergarten and he’s doing great with them. They aren’t too easy and they keep him thinking about the story. Buy them! You can’t Go Wrong. And the Box they come in is nice and sturdy, perfect for on the go or on the bookshelf.
