Q: Does it have cutouts for cords on both shelves?

Q: Can the shelf in the middle section be removed?

Yes. You can adjust the height of all the shelves with the pegs. You build this and put it together yourself so if you dont want the shelf you dont have to put it there!

Q: Would the top shelf hold a 10 gallon fish tank (111 lbs)?
