Why did I land on this one?... because honestly, I didn't want to pay almost $100 for some cloth and rubber! So I felt like this one was at a decent price and at least had a few reviews.Honestly, before I went with this one, I was thinking about just buying some camo cloth and doing it myself. But before I did that, I decided to give this one a try. And overall I'm pretty happy with it, though there are a few things that could be much better (check the cons along with some of the images).Anyway, let's get into the pros and cons (ALSO SEE BELOW PROS AND CONS FOR INSTRUCTIONS):PROS:- IT WORKS! Does exactly what I needed.- It includes a piece to cover the hidden part of the lens that shows when you extend it all the way to 600mm. This was a pleasant surprise to me because I quickly hit "Buy It Now" without even seeing that this part was included! So again, I was pleasantly surprised :)- The actual print seems like it's high quality/detail. Looks pretty much just like the picture in that regard.- The fabric and rubber feel quite nice, not cheapo like I thought they would be.Now the CONS:- First of all... it doesn't come with any instructions at all, so see below for my instructions. The strips are numbered and luckily, they ARE, in fact, in order but the problem is that the numbers easily fall off, so be careful when you're pulling it out of the little cloth sleeve they come in.- The 3M strip does not stick very well and keeps peeling off on it's own (see picture). I'm thinking about just applying my own double-stick tape to it to see if that fixes the issue but if it doesn't, I might go with some very soft, non residue-leaving glue OR just take it off and go without it, after all, I just wanted to cover the majority of the lens in camo to help me blend into the environment. I don't really mind if 1 part of it is black.- I'm slightly worried about the stitching because... it seems like it was rushed (see photo).I can't justify giving this 5 stars with all of it's faults but for the price, and the fact that it does exactly what I need it to, I can't give it less than 4! It's not the fanciest lens cover out there for this particular lens but it also doesn't come with a "fancy" (high) price tag so overall, I'm satisfied with it :) I mean it's either deal with the slight inconveniences of this kit (see cons) or pay almost triple the price! Plus the birds and other wildlife won't notice the downsides sooo I'll take the budget kit :)INSTRUCTIONS:1. First of all, be careful when you're pulling the camo strips out of the little cloth bag they come in because the little sticky numbers can fall off easily. In case your stickers fell off: Lay the strips beside your camera. In general, they will be about the same width as their corresponding lens parts. Strip 2 is tapered, strip 5 has a small notch in it for the locking mechanism, strip 7 has the windows and strip 9 is really small.2. Lay all of the strips out in order, from 1 to 9 (see my image of the lens that has the numbers on it).3. Put the sticky, 3M strip to the rotating "stand" part of the lens. Peel off the "3M" labeled paper to reveal the sticky part.4. Put on # 9 (behind the stand part of the lens) and made sure it was snug up against the stand so it wouldn't interfere with the camera's lens port in any way.5. Remove the lens hood and place strip # 1 onto the hood.5. put on each strip, 1 by 1, starting with number 7, which is the strip that covers the lens controls, and working your way back to 2, which is the slightly tapered strip that goes onto the very front part of the lens before the front glass and hood. Pull each strip over the front of the lens, they do stretch but be careful not to stretch them to the point of breaking.7. When you're out in the field, you can apply strip # 3, which is the velcro strip that goes on the inner part of the lens (which is exposed when you zoom into 600mm).I hope this is helpful! I know it certainly would have helped me to have instructions, as I wasn't sure at first which strip went on each part of the lens. Luckily I was able to figure it out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommended *by M***T on 4 July 2018* I didn't expect much when ordering this cover because it was significantly less expensive than the covers from other manufacturers like LensCoat, which were out of stock when I ordered this one, but I am very happy with the purchase. It was a little tedious to put on as it fits very snugly and ended up taking about 15 minutes to get all the sections on. I didn't use the sticky section for the tripod adapter ring but all of the other sections fit on perfectly - very snug and unlike some of the other reviews I saw about the cuts being uneven wasn't the case for the cover I got - all of the sections seemed to be cut well. This makes it a lot easier to handle the lens and definitely protects it from scratches. I would definitely recommend this cover even if it were much higher priced. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks and works fine so far *by Z***N on 5 December 2017* Looks and works fine so far, no problem to find where each part goes, they were numbered + when you look at them and your lens it's pretty obvious where they belong so I don't really understand other reviewer's complains. I'd give it 4.5 stars just because some cuts are not 1000% straight and placement of some cutouts might be thought thru better so the seams don't have to be exposed on the top, but that does not really affect the functionality.
