Well built, makes everything faster and easier. Install can be troublesome but I got it on in five minutes. I recommend it.

These things are great. I seem to be collecting helmets, and every one of them except one came with a long strap on one side and a D-ring on the other. Simple, but takes too much time to thread it every time. While I actually can get my head into the helmet with the strap still in place, it sometimes isn't easy, and if I'm wearing a head covering, it's impossible to put the helmet on without messing things up.Enter the quick release strap. I've tried plastic ones, and they work just fine, but metal gives a feeling of security. These are just the thing. One side snaps onto the D-rings. The other side attaches easily to the long strap on the right side. If you have a snap on the end of that strap, you'll probably have to clip it off, but don't worry: once you use these quick release clips, you won't go back. When the helmet is worn out, move the clips over to the new one.Something I read suggested these wouldn't work on half helmets. Ignore that. That's about all I wear, and they work perfectly.

Made securing my helmet a breeze. I hate fiddling with the D ring and hate the other competitors with plastic buckles. This is a great product. Very well thought out and so eassssssssy to fit in your helmet straps that has D ring loops. So happy lol. I loath putting on the helmet because of the D ring and securing the button. Now I don't even have to think about it.

I like this a lot. It works great and it looks good. I noticed so after I purchased it some helmets come with a very easy to fasten and release buckle if you understand how to use it so make sure your using your current Buckle correctly before you spend the money for one of these. I have these on two of my helmets and I especially liked it on my half helmets for more of a traditional look whithout the flappy straps.

Every now and then, you come across a product that's EXACTLY what you need. This is one of those products. I purchased a new helmet and the D rings were tucked up extremely high in the cheek padding. With the helmet on, it's very difficult to even fit my fingers enough to grab the D rings, let along thread a strap through them (3XL helmet, BTW). I was planning on getting a quick release device anyway, but in this case it was nearly impossible to secure my helmet without one. After comparing a couple different options, I settled on this one. It only took a few minutes to pop off the snap with a butter knife and install the components. Everything is very sturdy and comfortable. It's definitely worth the money. I just received it today and haven't had a chance to ride with it, but I can't imagine that anything would go wrong with it.

You have to cut the strap for this to work, I don't recommend.
