Takes some getting used to, but I like what it does to my hair
I have very long hair, so it's a bit tricky to get coverage with a bar form vs a liquid. But I've learned to just stroke the bar in one direction from my forehead to the back of my head, and then hold the rest of my hair in my hand and rub the bar on all sides of the hair. It lathers up pretty quickly and nicely. I use it with their conditioner bar, and the combo is great. I have curly, greying, fine hair that frizzes easily. This shampoo and conditioner leaves my hair and curls soft and manageable and minimizes frizz.

Probably one of my favorite shampoos
I love that this is sustainable. It also tames my wildly frizzy hair in the Florida heat. Smells delicious, lathers up nice. Have been re-purchasing. No crazy ingredients in here either!

Best bar shampoo I’ve tried
I’ve tried several different brands, this is the best yet. It didn’t feel like it conditioned my hair, but I could comb it out without adding any other products, score! Soft hair. Less frizzy after several uses.

Love this shampoo bar!
This was my first foray into the shampoo bar world. I wanted to get something that I thought would work well on my fine, color-treated, naturally curly hair. As with most curly hair, mine tends to be dry so I looked for something with argan oil. This shampoo bar was exactly what I was hoping to find. Here are my thoughts:1. The bar lathers well, though it wasn't to the amount I usually get with liquid shampoos. That might just be because I use what I need with a bar instead of squirting a palm full with liquid. It is also easy to hold onto. It fit perfectly in my palm. I always rubbed it on my hair the same way so it wore down uniformly. It never cracked or broke even when it got really small and I was able to use it until it was just a very flat little disc, when it finally broke into pieces.2. Many people keep asking "how long does this last?" but I don't think time is a good indication because people wash their hair on different schedules and it also depends on length and volume of hair. So, I tracked how many USES I got out of this bar. I have long hair (about 8" past my shoulders) that is fine and curly. I got a total of 36 uses from this bar. If you have shorter hair, you'll get more uses. If you have longer full hair, you might get less.3. I appreciated the mild scent. It was pleasant and didn't linger afterwards. I've now learned that some bars have a very strong scent so if you don't like that, you'll also appreciate this bar.4. One last thing I liked about this bar is really more about the company. There is a code on the box, which you can enter in on their website and they will then donate a bar of soap to various organizations. This is fabulous! While I am currently trying out a new brand just to have some reference and because this one is a bit on the pricey side, I would definitely buy this bar again if I don't find something comparable at a lower cost, or possibly even if I do. It really is a great product and worth the price, IMO.The only bummer for me is that they don't make a conditioner bar.

Last so much longer than liquid
Yes, these do take time to transition to. Most people cannot just change to a bar and not see a difference. The differences can be good or bad at first too, it takes time and longer for some just varies. I tried various bars before landing on this one. I personally prefer this brand and this type for my hair. My daughter uses the tea-tree oil one. First - these bars lather so much better than the rest that I tried. I prefer the coconut oil as I have dry curly hair that is going grey (I do not color my hair and rarely use any styling tools or even a blow dryer). My daughter has very oily hair and prefers the tea tree oil one. I prefer to wash my hair more often than her, preference not that I could not go longer between washings.

Worth the try, quality product, just not for my scalp.
Has a soapy scent reminiscent of Caress. Not a bad thing by any means. Lathers great, rinses out easily. I found I had to wash my hair more often than with other shampoos simply because my scalp was so itchy. I ended up discontinuing use after a month because I was getting very fine flakes and my scalp felt too dry. There is no miracle hair product that works for everyone. This particular one just wasn't right for me, but I think the product itself is quality.

Curly hair friendly!
My hair is thick, greying, long and curly, which means it is very dry. I wanted to try this shampoo bar because I needed something easy to travel and it received good reviews. First, the scent is amazing! I keep it on a shelf in the shower and it smells so good in there. Second, it cleans my scalp very well and without drying it out or leaving it feeling oily. It leaves a squeaky clean feel. It doesn't make my hair frizzy or feel/look dry, however, I also use their conditioner on the ends to help tame the curls. The best application method I found for me is to not apply the bar directly onto my scalp but to emulsify in my hands before applying to my scalp. From there I comb my fingers through my hair. Because my hair is long, I apply a small amount, rinse and apply another small amount. This method of washing works best for my hair volume. I have recently traveled with it and loved the extra room I had in my liquids bag! I also love the fact that I am not contributing to the large amount of plastic bottles I already throw away! It's best to let the bar dry before placing it in a box, bag or whatever you will be using. I'm not going back to my previous shampoos. I love the convenience and price of a bar AND not contributing to the plastic problem.

Complete surprise
I was skeptical using a bar of soap for shampoo, but I was totally convinced. Could not believe the amount of lather and did not take long to do it. My hair was clean and the conditioning bar was great. My hair was left very soft. Will definitely keep buying. Looking forward to traveling with the bars instead of heavy bottles.
