I have medium length, fine hair, of which there is quite a lot of it. I have also been dealing with an itchy and flaky scalp for the past couple of years which nothing I use has helped to clear up. I was a bit sceptical at first that this would rid me of the flaky scalp but I was willing to give it a try, and also at the price (which is cheaper than some shampoos) I thought why not! I read some other reviews prior to my purchase where they'd said it had hurt their scalp when using and torn their hair so I was cautious my first time using it, however I found it really gentle but firm enough to massage my scalp properly. It has not pulled out any of my hair either (and as I said above I have fine hair) so I found myself wondering if some of the reviewers went all out hulk when using this as I don't understand how it hurt their scalp! I've used this about five times so far and I rub the shampoo into my hair as normal and then use this to massage my scalp in small circular motions. I love it, it feels really relaxing as it massages the scalp and I can feel it cleaning with the shampoo right down to the roots. I do actually feel that my hair is cleaner and lighter when I get out of the shower. Now, it hasn't completely removed the flakes from my scalp but they have lessened and my head is not as itchy. This isn't a miracle cure that will get rid of dandruff but it does help to lessen and it feels great to use, you can even use it on dry hair just for a head massage. My husband also loves it and is using it all the time! I think I may need to buy another one just for him as we will soon be fighting over using just the one. This really was worth the £8 spend and I'm enjoying my daily head massage in the shower, bliss!

I truly believe these scalp massage brushes are the best way to stop hair loss - and this one is the best. I suffer from hypothyroidism which causes hair loss. I have tried the oils - rosemary, castor etc. (rather messy), and all the pills and potions - which don't really work. However, when I go back to one of these massagers I am always impressed - and very quickly. If you use them with oils etc. they could be even better. Massaging my scalp always brings very quick relief. Recently my long hair was shedding everywhere - which (as you all know) is very upsetting. I couldn't find a massager that I'd bought previously - so I ordered this one (because of the reviews). I hate saying something is 'miraculous' .... but after a few days it really was - and my hair did stop shedding quite a lot .... and has continued to do so. I then remembered they have worked in the past. What must happen is I forget how good they are - well, they do look rather unappealing - and then I stop using them or lose them. The hair stops shedding and I forget why. In future, I intend to use mine regularly. I do not know if they can cause regrowth - but just to not see hair everywhere - restores confidence and hope. Please try one - and use it regularly - I am sure stimulating the circulation on the head must be beneficial.

I’ve bought this product a couple of times now - the first one broke apart when I dropped it in the shower, which was a shame. The second I bought for my boyfriend, because he liked it so much. It feels very satisfying to scratch your head and it’s great for lathering up the shampoo :) I definitely feel fresher after using it, even if it’s not actually making any difference.

Good massager

I am so impressed with these. You know when you go to the hairdressers and you feel that you have really had your hair washed well you get the same feeling with these.

Always skeptical of gimmicky things but when you're desperate and your doctor won't see you due to the plague Amazon it was! So glad I made this purchase. I suffer from itchy scalp which in turn becomes tender/sore scalp due to the constant itching. Having watched a video (yes I watched a video on how to wash my hair, sue me) I realised I use too much product and not enough washing it out due to my wrist hurting. This product I have a technique I use: I do one spot, gently, for five/six seconds and move onto the next patch. The product is designed in a way that feels natural meaning its ergonomic and you feel no strain on the wrist or your hands. Be gentle, not aggressive, it should feel nice on your scalp, not like Freddy Krueger going at your scalp. You can do the gentle circular motion or do the up and down motion or side to side motion, there is no right one, its whatever works for you really, hey you might even come up with a new one - believe in yourself. I use it after I shampoo my hair and during rinsing too. Huzzah, not only is my scalp not itchy anymore, after the first use my noticed a huge reduction in dandruff too. My dandruff currently has been eliminated by 90%. Before I had the top part of my head littered with dandruff and it was clearly visible. If you're worrier your hair will become a huge cat ball hair of a mess fear not fellow washer, I have medium long thick hair. All thou needst to do is brush out your hair starting at the tip and working up in small increments and hold the top part just above the brush it makes for better brushing. Never brush wet hair as it will weaken the hair shafts leading to breakage. And we don't want to be adding more problems in our lives, Boris and Co are doing that fine!

Worked very well for a while. About 3 months in, using at least twice a week, the entire thing fell apart and would not fit back together. Sadly, it was time for recycling. Firmer spikes would have been better for me, but it was easy to use and good while it lasted.

This is one of my best 2023 purchases. It’s not too harsh on the scalp and grows your hair instantly!! I have so many baby hairs now due to how instantly my hair grows now. I also bought for my friend who couldn’t believe it until she tried it and was amazed too. Additionally, my brother has a dry scalp condition and this helped with the dry patches as it’s gentle but effective. I feel like overall it does help my hair feel a lot cleaner at the roots! The only one negative which is very minor is that the top did come out but with a few adjustments and attempts you can slot it back in like normal. It has only happened once so not something to worry about.
