I purchased this lock for my grandson (teenager). It was simple to install and works great. Very handy to help a teen keep up with it. Anyone should love this. No hassle, now just remembering to use it ;) Thanks for a great product! ”ALERT: 1/24/2016 Be careful. He did not get it clicked in the holder exactly right, we guess and the lock fell out while he was riding. Went back over all of the area, apparently someone stole it in between = NO LOCE NOW. CLICK and CK IT!

Really like this lock
Really like this lock. Easy to dial and unlock. The permanently curled shape took a little getting used to, but in the long run is very convenient. I can curl it around the base of the handle bars for travel and use away from home. Seems very sturdy.

Quality went down
The first one from this brand that I purchased was much higher quality. At that time, it was an add-on item for around $7. When I went to reorder, the price jumped at around $16 (it wasn't an add-on anymore) and the one that was delivered was much lower quality. In fact, it broke after a week of use. I returned the broken one for a refund

it's just annoying.
We've had this product for less than a week and one of the plastic end pieces (where the "chain part" connects to the lock) came lose and one of the wires is poking out. The wire is sharp and I've been poked a few times. The lock still functions, it's just annoying.

Poor Quality Control
I purchased 2 of these locks and when I changed the combination code, one failed to open, the other one was fine. I believe the lock was defective because when I rotated the "set" button on the defective one, it turned much farther than on the other lock. It also was stiff when trying to rotate the mechanism backwards.Since one lock worked, it seems like poor quality control...

Great value, great security.
Very good lock. I've not tried to break it, but it appears to be very secure; short of someone with a heavy duty bolt cutter or propane torch.

After setting my own combination, I could not get it to unlock. Had to return it. I think I will stick to a keyed lock lest I be stranded.
