I don't have access to a big enough oven** A: Yes....I made a big box to hang my rifle in and hung a heat gun inside with an oven thermometer to get the correct temperature.This coating only has to be at temperature for thirty minutes so it is possible even without an oven. **Q: Is it safe to bake in the house?** A: Yes, it does have an odor though. Nothing terrible. **Q: What's the heat resistance?** A: Its fairly heat resistant. you can use on any part. But keep in mind,its just paint. Moving parts will show wear quickly,and it's not scratch resistant as cerokote( such as a bolt carrier). **Q: Would this product adhere to brass?** A: Don't know why it wouldn't.
