For water conservation in your community, we recommend you to use our rain barrels in your home to help conserve our natural resources. Our 52 to 60 gallon rain barrels are made of recycled water tight wine barrels that can also be used as a plant stand by simply closing the top of the barrel. At the rain collection area, a screened opening minimizes insect entry into the barrel while filtering debris from incoming water. An overflow hose, located at the top/back of the barrel, designates the direction of excess water to flow. It can be replaced with a longer hose to divert overflow to a garden or distant runoff area. All colors shown in the pictures vary. Each piece is created from used wine barrels, as each one is different as we get them.

Not at all functional as a rain barrel.
First, and most important point of criticism: after a handful of months, less than half a year, the rain barrel now leaks water along all wood joints. That is, it does not hold water *at all*.Second, even from the first day we got it, there was a hole plugged by a cheap silicone cork, which does not stay corked, and I highly doubt it could stand up to the pressure exerted by a full barrel of water. This is hypothetical, because It does not hold water *at all*.Third, the screen on the top is not sufficient to keep out mosquitoes. It is only enough to keep out small rocks, perhaps leaves. It's got about a half inch grate or so, too coarse for what I would have assumed is the key function of a screen: keep out mosquitoes.Fourth, as the wood is not at all conditioned, I highly doubt even if it held water, which it does not, it would not last but a few seasons exposed to even the mild elements such as I have here in California.Conclusion: if you like the look of a good weathered barrel, with a silicone cork and a brass spigot, get it as a decoration. If you need a rain barrel for water capture purposes, look elsewhere.

It started leaking
I purchased the first wine barrel and it was returned because it had been damaged in transit. Received my next wine barrel, it has been working great since we installed it in February, now it is leaking. We can't return it

Missing bonghole plug - no option to contact the Seller
Just received the barrel. Looks great, unfortunately it is missing an essential part: the bonghole plug... I wanted to just request the plug but THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY TO CONTACT THE SELLER. The only option is to return or replace the whole item. VERY VERY FRUSTRATING.

Garden glamour !
I bought three of these and love them.I did condition the outside of barrels several times with beeswax before using them. I don’t have any leakage issues and use them daily.

Leaks!!!
The spout leak and had to fix it with silicone tape and sealant. Unbelievable that we had to do work to fix this after the money we spent. Do not buy.
