The frame is black. The background only comes in white.

There are two brackets you can use to attach it to a wall or ceiling. You could use a variety of mounting methods depending on your situation.

does it have a case or sturdy carry bag to protect?

This screen does not come with a carry bag, however it folds up to a manageable light weight portable unit as designed. I have a semi-permanent location I leave the screen set up, however I wouldn't hesitate to collapse the unit and hit the road.

How do I get one with a black background too?

We only sell this with a white background, sorry.
