Understanding Business, 10th Edition

I purchased this book on Amazon last semester after finding it for a fraction of the cost my college bookstore was selling it for. This book is packed with information on all things business and I think it's a must have for anyone like me who has never taken a business class before.

Bought for college class. Perfect for class

I actually rented this primarily for an online Business 201 class that I am taking, so I wasn't expecting to find anything other than basic terms and concepts explained in a dull, textbook fashion, but this book has actually been an interesting read. Each chapter begins with a profile of someone who has been a major player in different business fields, and the terms and concepts are outlined in a way that's easy to read and mentally digest. I'm finding myself inspired as I start my own business venture (which is why I am taking the class), and seeing good advice that I can put into practice.Overall - it's been pretty pleasant. I still wouldn't read it on a random lazy Sunday afternoon just for giggles, but I would read it again if it were in my personal collection.

Rented this book and was just what my student need.Renting from amazon is very cool- they pay for return shipping and I just found a box, packed it well and printed the label. Remember to have a copy of your tracking number and you are good to go with renting. A great price over buying a book we simply dont need forever- just a semester.

Cheap price, but the book is separated from the spine the day I got it. Can't figure out who to message to make sure I don't get charged extra when I return it. Everything else looks good though!

Needed it for my Intro to Business class about 1.5 years ago.Book was brand new when I rented it from Amazon, shipping was good, and everything of the book is easy to read so therefore understandable. I would recommend it to anyone interested in understanding business especially if you're going into any aspects of business (I'm currently taking a marketing class which involves many of the terminology learned in this book).

Excellent textbook that is packed full of educational material and explains many of the new topics to make them easier to understand.I certainly learned from this text and I'm so glad that I ordered the hard copy instead of the e-version. Enjoy
