Brookstone Mighty Max Tower Fan

This is an awesome fan - works great and relatively quiet - nice to have the remote control as well.

Pros: like the digital controls and various fan levels. Good for the price I paid.Cons: I wouldn't call this "whisper" quiet but it is quieter than old fashioned blade fans.

The fan is ok but the bright light display is a big issue in the night. There is no provision to reduce or eliminate bright display.

I went by the reviews that this was a good fan.I bought two, one for my daughter. After one month few hour use per night I am get rattling noises I know now the quality is not there for the price.The oscillation gears are also very flimsy .I will look some where else for a better built product if you are willing to pay this price.

I have had this just a few days but so far I love it. It keeps the bedroom nice and cool, expect when temperatures exceed about 84 degrees. It is quit and there are several optional functions, one to suit everyone. It looks nice and is sturdy. Only the base had to be attached which took less than 4 mins.

Excellent quality, quiet, smooth working...good for air circulation in large and small area.Good brand name...easy to assemble...easy to use.

I purchased this fan for my son who is a hot sleeper. He loves it. It moves a lot of air and makes just enough “white noise” to be soothing but not distracting. He runs it all night every night for the past 10 months and has had no issues.

My 80 year old mother likes these fans, and has two of them so I decided to give one a try. The upside is that it does everything as advertised. So no real complains with its function, though the "breeze" and "Hi/Lo" modes - where fan speed goes up and down abruptly - are unnecessary and a little goofy. There are a couple of complaints that I believe merit 3 stars. First, at $119, this is an expensive fan for what you are getting. Much less expensive fans put out similar airflow with similar noise. The biggest gripe, though, is that the fan is wobbly. If you barely touch the top of the unit, it wobbles back and forth about 2". This does not affect function, but gives the unit an overall cheap feel. So the fans does what you expect of it, and I cannot recommend against buying it. But its spendy for what are getting, and the wobble detracts from seller satisfaction. Thanks.
