Setting up to use ------ 10/10 (very easy to do when following the instructions correctly)Attaching the backgrounds ------ 9/10 ( the important part of attaching the backgrounds is to ensure to do it before securing the top of the box , can be a little fiddly to do when top is secured )Backgrounds ------- 6/10 ( a lovely selection of 6 different coloured backgrounds but because of the visibility of the background material texture , it looks similar to tissue paper on close up photos of small items )Brightness and various light settings ------ 10/10 (wide variety of lighting options for different scenarios with crisp clear results )Shape and sturdiness ------- 10/10 ( when all sides are locked in securely it is very solid and keeps it shape brilliantly even if it has to be moved)Disassembly and storage ------ 10/10 ( disassembling the box is just as easy as it is to set it up , the storage bag included is perfect for putting it away when not in use and storing it inconspicuously)For the price point this is a great little lightbox with a lot of lighting options that gives it a lot of scenario flexibility. The only drawback is the texture of the backgrounds which unfortunately are somewhat noticeable when photographing small close up items. For me personally this is not a deal breaker as I am more than happy with the results that I can produce now but for some that may matter.Overall I would recommend this for anyone on a budget who wishes to get into lightbox photography without going to big expense.

The product as a whole is fantastic, exactly what you'd hope for and perhaps a little more. The size of the unit is superb for what we're using it for, having bought it to help my wife take 'sexies' of products for her new business (above board wax melts).There is perhaps only one issue that event the excellent brightness of the ring light can't overcome and that's the perforations in the fabric. Having and using a DSLR I can't see a why for an amateur or intermediate level of photographer to overcome the perforations being visable in their shots, without the use of photoshop. Personally I overcame the issue by using an A1 roll of high quality paper that I had around the house, using the backdrops to create a template and cutting a new perforation free backdrop from that. Obviously that only sorts the white and not the other colours that you receive with the package.It is very minor and for most users you will easily be able to live with it, I'm just a little OCD when it comes to things like that.All in all a fantastic product though and easily worth the money!

-- UPDATED NEW REVIEW - 22/07/21 --The team at Duclus reached out to me and offered to send me a replacement lightbox free of charge! Due to living outside of the UK they were unable to send it but instead they offered me a refund for the cost of the lightbox I previously purchased. Their customer service is absolutely incredible and I am so glad they reached out to me!--OLD REVIEW --After seeing a lot of negative reviews I was a bit on the fence about purchasing this lightbox, but I thought I would give it a go anyways so I could take pictures for my online shop. On first glances I was a bit surprised at how small it was - not a huge deal but thought it might have been a bit bigger. The lightbox seemed to work well the first time I used it - the lighting was bright and you could adjust the lighting settings too which was pretty great! But I did notice the background pieces included were not the best to work with - when taking photos you could see the fabric and textures, which ruined the quality of the photos and made them look so unprofessional. A few days later I decided to try again to see could I get some better photos and this is where the major issues came up. The actual light itself would not turn on. At all. It took about 10 minutes of fiddling with the cable to get the light to come on and at that I had to get another person to told a cable a certain way to keep the light on while I took my photos. Overall I just don't think this lightbox is worth the money. I've had more issues with it than success to the point where it's just completely unusable now unfortunately.

***This is my original review (see updated review beneath)*** I bought this to take better pictures of the products in my Etsy shop. This is OK but you aren't able to create the picture quality as seen in the item description. As you can see, the texture of the fabric background is clearly visible. This is with the brightest setting.Its looks like it's great for capturing detail of an item.I might stick a page of white paper to the back wall of it to see if I can get a better image with the plain white backgroundOn the plus side, it's a reasonable price & really easy to assemble. It also folds away into a small bag for easy storage.I haven't yet tried the different coloured backgrounds as I wanted just plain white.***Updated review***. In response to my review the company emailed me & offered to send me a new different product absolutely free! So, obviously I accepted.As you can see in the pictures it gives a much better image quality, and provides a softer light, so no annoying reflections.It is also a little bigger which is very helpful as well.The different coloured fabric backgrounds do not have the same texture so the pictures look better.It is a bit more fiddly to set up but that is due to separate lighting stands so it's not really an issue (see image of my set up on my ironing board 🤣).It also came with a mini tripod to hold your phone while taking pictures.So the new product is the '30cm photography lighting soft box studio' which I can definitely recommend.I have updated my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars as the product is much better and for their exceptional customer service. Thank you very much!

Box does not stay together properly and the light is no where near bright enough to call it a light box. Very disappointing
