Official Stamp Collector's Bible Paperback – October 15, 2002

Smelled like mildew and not what l was looking for. Disappointed

If you collect stamps or know someone who does, here is an excellent compilation of articles on philately which will help a novice or serious collector get more from their hobby. Pictures are black and white, but no matter, the information is just as good today as when the book was printed in 2003. A must have for the budding or serious philatelist.

Not what I expected

Both informative and entertaining. Mr. Datz has a wonderful way of telling the "story" of the ins and outs of stamp collecting. A good read for both the beginning collector and the seasoned. I find a new interesting tid-bit everytime I pick it up. Hats off to Stephen Datz.

I'm giving this book one star because all the pages are in black and white and there aren't many pictures! I can't use this book to find the values of all my stamps. Not happy about all the `good' reviews that made me want to buy the book.
