We bought this hat reducer for our son because he needed to wear a conductor hat to school for a special “dress like who you want to be when you grow up” day. He wants to be a train driver, and the only conductor hat we could get delivered in time was an adult size. This reducer worked perfectly to make it fit. He didn’t complain at all about having it inside the hat, which says a lot since kids usually notice anything uncomfortable. It stayed in place, did exactly what we needed, and was just as easy to remove afterward. That convenience alone made it worth it. If you need to size down a hat quickly and comfortably — especially for kids — this is a great solution.

New Era hats sometimes but rarely are not true to size. These inserts will fix it if you’re right size hat is a little too big. I’m a 7 1/8 but bought a size 7 1/4 (one size up) and the inserts made the hat fit perfectly. VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PRODUCT.

These did exactly what I needed them to do. I had purchased a steampunk hat for Halloween that was so big, it came down over my eyes. I love the Hat. I didn't want to return it. I wanted to make it work. So naturally, I went to Amazon to save me. I came across these tape reducers. They got good reviews so I purchased them. The good reviews were not exaggerated. These reducers did exactly what I needed them to do. I had to use 12 pieces in all. Three layers all around , but they worked! The Hat sits on my head perfectly and doesn't even look big. Now I can wear it for my steampunk cat outfit. They stick really well, even after I took the hat on and off several times to make absolutely sure it wasn't going to change its mind and fall back over my eyes. They got here super fast. The picture of the unused reducers is what was still left after I used some to resize the hat, so you get a good amount. Recommend these, and this seller.

I made my best friend a cowgirl hat for her bachelorette trip and her head is 20” so naturally every hat at Hobby Lobby is huge so these were the perfect fix! So far the softness, thickness, size, variety appearance etc is great. It’s all about placement in the hat so hopefully this fits her perfectly!

Ordered classic colors and was sent black/white. Not the end of the world but needed a few brown and had to use black instead, minor annoyance. They work well for their intended purpose.
