Does it have leather parts?

YEs, The ends of the strap are leather and the leather goes between the camera and the mounting ring so the camera does not get scratched.

Is the strap length adjustable? Looking for a camera strap for a young (8 yr old) photographer.

It isn’t adjustable, but it really isn’t that long, either, once it’s on body. This is especially, true if you plan on using it cross-body. As a reference, I’m a 6’4 guy, and it’s way too small for me to wear. I use it wrapped around my wrist for a little extra security, and as a way to quickly grab it out of my sling. It it very sturdy and well made.
