Bring 1 and 3/4 cup of water to a boil in deep pan. Pour in 1/2 cup. Mix thoroughly with your wooden stick. To make it lighter, add water to your preference, but I suggest adding a little at a time. Want it thicker? Leave on low heat for a couple minutes or as desired

The ingredients list is one of the pictures on this item. It looks like "processed dehydrated yam flour" and some sort of preservative. I don't know what the dehydrated yam flour is, but it appears there's some yam in there
