Sturdy, but heed installation tips.
This wall mount door stop is well made and sturdy. Installation instructions make installing this into a wood surface way too complicated. If installing into wood, don't drill a huge hole into your wall as the instructions say to do. Instead, remove the round plate and screw from the back of the unit. Attach the screw to the plate and secure it with the nut. Be sure to insert the screw into the concave side so that the screw head is flush with the side of the plate that will go against your wall. Now, simply mount the round plate to the wood surface with 2 wood screws where you want the door stop to be. Once the plate is mounted, screw on the door stop unit to the plate with the anchor screw sticking out that you just installed to the wood surface.

anchor never opened
looking at the pieces as well as the install instructions, it seemed as though I'd be making a giant hole in the wall that wouldn't be sturdy: unfortunately, I was correct.this had to be installed into a sheetrock wall, so I attempted to bang in the screw with the anchor. this took way too long, upset my neighbors (excellent!) and then was completely wobbly. I tried to screw the nut on, but it would never tighten sufficiently because the anchor didn't deploy.after being upset and checking out these reviews, I decided I'd screw the plate over the screw sticking out of the wall and attempt to affix it with the two screws provided. that worked, ish. (I didn't use the anchors because I was afraid of making even more giant holes in my new walls, ugh.) I was able to screw the doorstop onto the wall at that point, but every time I tried to tighten it, it would tighten then turn.so I've left it. I'm afraid that the first time my door (it's my front door) bangs into the doorstop it's over, but for now it's installed. kind of.disappointed.EDITED TO ADD: I squirted some Gorilla Glue in the hole where the screw went, and the doorstop isn't wobbly any more. It may break off and ruin my wall... but so far so good (10 days)...although I am very careful not to throw the door open.

Looks Good; But, Cannot Effectively Be Installed on Baseboard
Yes, it looks fine; and, appears to be sufficiently sturdy. However, there is a significant gap between looks and practicality. Center mounting screws arrived rusted,; and, were too long. So, it kept moving in door-stop plate, preventing it from sealing solidly against the baseboard. Therefore, the door stop continually wobbled, after installation. Could potentially be user repaired; but, why expend the effort? Will find something more effective, from another manufacturer......

Solid and sturdy!
This doorstop is 2” longer than the one that came with the house. We Added window covers that encroached into the door space and so added this to prevent damage. There is no adhesive on it. It requires a screwdriver or a drill for installation. I have a handy husband and it was easy for him to install. I read some reviews prior to purchase that said they had difficulties with installation. Just know to put the screw through the back side of the washer prior to installing it on the baseboard (or wall) and the stopper will screw right on it. I find it sturdy and attractive.

Mounting Hardware is weak
You get what you pay for. The mounting plate that is designed to hold the square head nut will bend and strip out when you try to mount the door stop and get it flush with the wall. The included anchors are also cheap and not to be trusted for a 6" door stop. With that length, they need sturdier hardware to secure it (and guard against any shearing forces from accidental contact). This chore was far down on the honey-do list, so by the time I got to it, I was out of the return window. If you need something that will will be subjected to any kind of traffic - look elsewhere for a sturdier product.

Easy to install and plenty sturdy
Needed a way to prevent the handle lock from hitting the closet handle. This 4" version works perfectly.Came with plenty of screw types for installing in wood, drywall, and even an expanding sleeve for brick.Install was easy enough and it appears very sturdy.

contemporary design and very functional
Perfect door stopper for a prime door from our dining area into lower living room. Doorknob was likely to hit glass of an antique print, which was recently moved. Stopper works very well!

mute tip does not mute
While is is certainly long enough to keep the door from hitting the vent register, it is not any quieter than hitting the plastic deflector. I even attached a felt pad to the tip over the hard plastic mute tip and it still doesn't MUTE. Also, it installed just fine, if you have baseboard, using the metal plate and 2 attachment screws without drilling large holes.

Handy door stop
Wanted a longer stopper to reach underneath a radiator and protect the front door; and this item does the job perfectly. There is a choice of fitting: wood and stud wall.
