My best friend's kid loves earring she's always losing the back so I thought I'd buy these for her. Fully knowing that she's allergic to all kinds of metal and she can only have 14 karat gold in her ears I thought this was a safe bet. Ears blistered and I mean bad. I don't believe for one minute that these are 14 karat. Ended up throwing them away
