MEGREZ Pottery Porcelain Multifunctional Inkwell Inkstone with Brush Holder for Chinese Japanese Calligraphy Practice, Green

This is a beautiful inkwell, and very large, but it is cracked on the inside, from the upper lip all the way down to about 1/4" above the bottom. The crack is only a hairline crack at the bottom, but the upper part of the crack is definitely wide enough for the ink to get through the glaze and into the porcelain. I suppose it's still usable, but I am disappointed, as again, the inkwell is so lovely otherwise. It's clearly a manufacturing flaw rather than damage from shipping or mishandling, and either wasn't caught by quality control or was intentionally overlooked, I cannot say. I would prefer to contact the seller directly, rather than leave a poor review, but as it was fulfilled by Amazon, there's no option for that.

It is very decent and useful, compacted and multiple purpose.Its color is very traditional and oriental, and its shape is very simple and not invasive.

Nice product, convenient, can store ink overnight without drying.
