Just know that the formulation of this product is entirely different than what it was previously. The wonderful smell it use to have is no longer there. I have a really good sniffer, but there was hardly any scent to this product and it did not feel as good on the skin either. In addition, I ordered 4 bars total, it was broke down into two orders, 3 in one, 1 in the other. I received the package of 3, but the other one never came. Then when they left the package of 3 at the door, it showed on the tracking the same pic of both packages although I only received the one. Deceptive at best.

I love the smell of this soap. It works great on the skin and I have also used its lather to shave with great success. The most recent purchase I made, was supposed to contain 3 bars of soap, but it only had 1. I was not notified that the order wouldn’t contain the other 2 bars. Maybe I will have more success with the next order.

Great smell, does not dry me out. Would not recommend for hair but as a body soap it is tough to beat, although a little pricey.

This new formulation is cheap, non-moisturizing, and does not smell as nice as the original but is sold for the same premium price. Shea Moisture is more concerned about their profit margins than customer satisfaction. This product is a disgrace to the founder, Sofi Tucker. This new formulation is not worth the premium price and is no substitution for the original. The original formulation was the greatest soap for men I have ever come across. I use it to cleanse and moisturize my body and hair, plus, I shave with it. It is a great 3 in 1 solution. I still have original formulation bars for side-by-side comparisons.
