Perfect function at small price.
I ordered a Bushnell TRS 25 red dot sight and needed a mount so I purchased both the medium height and the high rise mounts. My M4 has the fixed front a-frame with a KNS ball front pin and Daniel Defense A1.5 fixed rear. The medium height riser was perfect absolute co-witness. Trials seeing the BUIS went well but the red dot was busy although not enough to complain. I then mounted the high rise mount. The TRS 25 is now in a position where it partially obscures the front post. The dots projector hardware at the bottom right inside the tube creates a diagonal block from lower left and rising to upper right which disects the front pin approximately at the lower 1/3rd point in the pins height. With my ball sight pin I can still aim but it is a distraction I will have to learn to overlook. At 58 my eyes do not clearly pick up the front pin anyway without glasses. I can clearly see the red dot and aiming both eyes open has restored my clarity and speed. With this high mount the dot is above the irons and works alone on a plane which operates with a "heads up" position which is more ergonomic than being "down" on the butts cheek weld. I am glad I bought both heights of the mounts and that decision was easy based on price. These mounts go on easily and quickly. They lock down hard and tight without movement. They weigh nothing yet are stout. Used with the Bushnell TRS 25 the mount shows maybe 1/16 inch on both ends longer than the red dot body. Overall appearance is exceptional. Using Iodine (poor mans Loc-tite), fingernail polish or Loc-tite does not seem rocket science to me and can quickly cure vibration based loosening if required. Excellent product, excellent price, quick shipping. Two thumbs up !

Didn't work for what I hoped, but still great product!
I had originally purchased 2 of these 1" tall 3 slot risers in the hope that I could mount a scope on the A4 flattop upper of my AR15 using the UTG Max Strength LE Grade Quick Detach Picatinny Scope Rings (2 Piece, 1-Inch Diam, 6-Screw Hi Profile) . The idea being to mount the high rings on the risers to clear a non folding rear sight. I almost worked, but the scope tube got in the way of the sight aperture. So that plan was botched! So after several other thoughts that got similarly discarded, they went into my toolbox waiting for a use. They didn't stay there long, as I use them now to jack my simple front and rear sight up on my Tippmann X7 Phenom paintball marker, making it possible to use the sights while wearing a mask with an M4 stock installed. If they would've worked out for anything I could've used them for on the AR15 though, I would have. The machining, finish, fit, workmanship all around was superb, especially for the inexpensive cost. Would work great in the different heights offered to co-witness a red-dot/mini red-dot sight on a flattop upper to an individual operator's specs. Something worth noting, the nut will not screw off accidentally, and the locking bar is held in spring tension. It seems pretty damn sturdy, but aside from airsoft, paintball, or maybe on a rimfire rifle, I wouldn't expect any reasonable "return to zero" function in mounting & re-mounting of an optic by way of these risers. As long as you understand what they're meant to do, what they're capable of, they're a GREAT product, and no doubt as projects present the need, I shall be ordering more in varying heights & slot counts. Keep up the good kit UTG!

Perfect 1/3 co-witness height for the Bushnell TRS-25 with MBUS Gen1 and Gen2 sights!
Recently purchased both the medium profile as well as the high profile risers for my AR not really knowing which would work best for my Bushnell TRS-25. When using the Bushnell TRS-25 optic in conjunction with the Magpul MBUS flip-up sights (both Gen1 and Gen2 models) the High Profile riser is a will provide a very functional bottom one-third co-witness usability with the MBUS flip-up sights. (**If you are seeking a one-half co-witness usability with the Bushnell TRS-25 and MBUS flip-up sights, see the Meduim Height Riser from UTG) Fit and finish are great and a great value. The mount is solid and engages the standard 1913 picatinny railing flawlessly. The one pitfall that I had found with this product is that when attempting to mount the riser onto the upper receiver of my AR was related to the movable jaw on the side of the mount under the lock-down screw. Because the locking knob is captive on the threaded shaft that links the movable an static sides of the jaw, it took some coaxing at the risk of marring the finish of the rail because the jaw did not open wide enough to just 'slip' onto the railing. While not a deal-breaker and can even serve as a bit of an insurance policy to hedge against outright losing the riser under duress it does bid mention. If you are sensitive to the finish of your railing around where you mount the riser take some extra time an patience to do it right.

UTG Risers
Solid build, a little tough getting them on the rail (I'm a clutz), but when they were on, they're not going anywhere. If you are not an experienced gunsmith and have two left hands, as do I, what I learned in mounting the scope is to start from the bottom up. This may be old hat to most of you, but I made it much more difficult than it should have been. Once mounted, in this case, on an AR15 you'll see that you have plenty of room to also mount iron sights, if you like. I personally went with a laser sighter, but who knows. In any case great company, excellent product!!!

Buen elevador, ligero pero robusto fácil de apretar y bastante rígido, no se afloja. Usado con un amplificador y una montura abatible de la misma marca deja el punto rojo a la altura perfecta.

Super Verarbeitung, leichte Montage ohne prima Optik.
