Best cameras for me!
These cameras are the best. I have no problems with them & they do what i need. I see everything when i am not even there. I have 3 places i watch and these cameras are my easiest way to not worry or wonder. The cost is reasonable and they work without hassle. I love these! Bought at least twelve of these and i see everything and everywhere. Mounts fast & easy or sits on a table. And pictures of view are great. Nice and clear.

Can’t believe how good it is for the price. I will be buying more - perhaps the E1 Pro next time
I am so impressed with these little cameras! I have previously bought a set of Arlo battery-powered cameras that are essentially useless - as much as it may seem appealing to have battery powered cameras and no wires, it comes at a HUGE sacrifice of functionality, since the camera can’t be powered on all the time. Then there is also the overhead of having to go and retrieve batteries and charge them every month or two. These Reolink cameras were trivial to setup. They have voice prompts that let you know the current status/progress while setting up, and the wifi settings are read by the camera from a QR code on your phone. Note they may be less easy to setup if you don’t have a smart phone - though I expect that’s a dwindling population nowadays. The image is clear, the audio is clear, and the return audio (where you talk remotely into your phone and can make it play through the device speaker) is surprisingly loud and clear. It’s a good idea to get a micro SD card and plug into the slot you can see under the camera when you pan all the way up. I needed a little screwdriver to gently push it in far enough to have it latch. Then it will automatically record to the SD and you can watch recorded content remotely. What I like most about these cameras (and the reason I picked them) is that at absolutely no point in the entire process does anything try to get me to sign up for the cloud service. You can make use of all these features without ever doing so. I haven’t used the cloud service, but if you do I believe it lets you record directly to the cloud rather than just to a local SD. For real security use when you’re not there I guess there are benefits to this - though for real security you shouldn’t be using WiFi (which can easily be disabled by an attacker using simple devices they can buy online). My use is primarily to monitor my mother who has dementia and needs a lot of watching, and as a “nanny-cam”. For this the recordings are potentially useful (eg. What did she put in that pot that is boiling on the stove, and how long ago did she start it), and there isn’t exactly a risk she’ll try to remove the SD card from the camera. The pan-tilt function gives more or less complete view in every direction, and is almost completely silent. I’ve ceiling mounted the two cameras I bought, though they can stand on a table or shelf just fine (I don’t want a big something to be put down right in front of the camera, rendering it useless). This works very effectively. Note that wall-mounting will limit the view rather, since it can’t point the camera directly away from the wall. The little blue indicator light is always on by default, but you can switch it off from the settings menu, which is good. It would be nice to be able to make the blue light turn on only when the camera is being streamed (ie. Someone is actually watching). I would like to be able to give the object of my monitoring the privacy to know that if the light is off then nobody is watching - perhaps a future software enhancement.

Great camera with a few minor drawbacks
I bought this camera to keep an eye on my pets while I’m at work. The setup was fairly straightforward—I had it connected to my Wi-Fi and the Reolink app within about 15 minutes. The video quality is excellent, especially for the price. The 4MP resolution and night vision are clear, and the 360-degree pan is really smooth. Person and pet detection work well most of the time, and I get timely notifications on my phone. First, it only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, which is fine for me but could be a limitation for some. Second, the audio during two-way talk has a slight delay and sometimes echoes. Lastly, while the app is generally good, it can occasionally lag when switching between multiple cameras. Overall, though, this is a solid indoor security camera. Great value, reliable performance.

GREAT CAMERA but buy an SD card
Here is my honest review. Do not read the instructions. They will not help you at all. Plug in the camera Download the Reo Link app After you download the app scan the QR code on the back of the camera It takes you through the steps that you would read in the instructions I bought an SD card 32 GB and it should record for the whole day. At the end of the day, I’ll just delete the recording. The quality of the camera is not as clear as I would’ve liked however it serves its purpose for filming all day. I’ve tried other cameras and they still want you to buy a subscription with an SD card ridiculous. This camera is perfect for everything I wanted. I wanted to be able to film throughout the day. I wanted to be able to check on my cats.

REOLINK FOR THE WIN!!!
I was pleasantly surprised and how well these cameras worked! Installation and setup was seamless and easy! The option to use a micro SD card to capture footage for a long span of time was a game changer for me! They really mean NO SUBSCRIPTION NEEDED!!! I purchased these, a door bell one and external ones that I will also review! These seem not to clog up my network either like my older Zmodo cams (garbage now!). If you’re questioning if these are good or not, don’t! They are GO FOR IT!!!!! You’ll love them!!! Pro tip: purchase the “Blink” brand micro SD card (currently $29.99) and use with these, cheapest on the market for that size and it is a true 256gb card that works wonderfully with these cams!

Reolink has lost focus on what the customer wants / needs.
I use to love Reolink, but like this purchase, I find I am returning more and more of their products for the below same reasons One of the great features of Reolink was reliability, ease, redundance, consistency in set up – good scalability and great customer service; the force multiplier of Reolink. If you had an issue connecting to WIFI, it always came with an ethernet port as backup (which ALWAYS worked in getting you set up for WiFi). I returned this product for not having an Ethernet port and the wifi pseudo-AI / auto set up failing miserably - now common issue with Reolink It appears the tech team is no longer in the driver seat, but the marketing department - and thus the Reolink performance has degraded the last year. Instead of more Wifi Range, the real Achilles heel of the Reolink eco system, if seems to focusing on pseudo-AI voice instructions. To make their new camera’s look more modern, they hide the antennae, at the expense of WIFI range and also removing the ability to mitigate WiFI range problems with things like antennae boasters. To a potential buyer – I would suggest you look at older models of Reolink’s cameras only. They perform better, easier to set up, and are more scalable; not to mention Reolink NVR WIFI firmware currently has not been updated to interface with the newest cameras. To Reolink if you want to provide real value to Reolink customers, stop this sudo AI international marketing/packaging stuff you are doing - work on wifi range, the real Achilles heel of your eco systems. • Get your AC1200 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi Extender released (or at least scale your NVR so you can use third party extenders like Netgear) • Bring back your WiFi Antenna extenders, or better, release an improved version that increases range even more. • Stop hiding Antenna internally, which degrades their wifi range - if TP-Link and Netgear use external antennas, the is no tech excuse for you to not do so. • Before you release a new model, make sure your WiFi NVR (DVR/Router appliance) firmware supports it. • Go back to written instructions, (where each page was dedicated to one language, or YouTube channels that were dedicated to one language). Get rid of this marketing / new packaging effort of pseudo-AI set up in an unnecessary international “we are the world” packaging. Besides providing less information, a 3-sentence written instruction is now 15 sentence diatribe of foreign languages. Or at the very least, add the old option of “press 1 for English, press 2 for Spanish, press 3 for Korean, press 4 for Japanese……

Works well, awful privacy toggle
I bought this camera to incorporate to Home Assistant and monitor my home while I’m away. The camera works well, has good video quality, and I like the fact that has the ability to pan the image. However, I will say, the pan controls are not very smooth (which makes it difficult to move the camera in tiny increments), which is a bummer. Another thing that I don’t like about this camera is that while it has a privacy mode, it is hidden down several menu layers, almost as if they didn’t want you to use this feature, or maybe the issue is that they added it only as an afterthought. In my honest opinion, privacy toggles should at least be front and center in the main display. What would have made this better is if there was a way to either program the privacy mode to be enabled as soon as you enter home, or else be enabled at a certain time of day certain days of the week. Unfortunately, neither of these seems to be available. Which leads me to another point. The app itself is not very polished. Honestly, this is not uncommon when it comes to these Chinese made cameras, however, given that many of them would love for you to use their cloud services for recording video, the least they could do is to improve the quality of their app interfaces. In conclusion, I like this camera: it works well, has decent features, I like that it can pan and has a feature to follow subjects once in detects movement, and I like that it USB-C powered. However, the app, privacy mode, and pan controls, leave quite a lot to be desired. Finally, I would’ve been happy paying a little bit more money if this camera also had the ability to be included in Apple Home. I was able to do it via Scrypted in Home Assistant, however, it was definitely not plug-and-play.

Fantastic hardware! No subscription!
There was a bit of a learning curve with the app at first, and a few early bugs (which got fixed with updates), but overall this app has been great. I love how many settings I can customize, and linking to the Reolink Home Hub means I get 24/7 recording without any subscription fees. Huge plus. The hardware is fantastic. I liked the doorbell cam so much, I bought two more cameras, including this one. Once everything’s set up, the system is reliable, flexible, and way more feature-rich than most. Worth it!

Excellent Picture Quality & Easy Setup – Totally Worth It!
I’m very impressed with this camera! The picture quality is truly up to the mark – crystal clear, sharp, and vibrant. One of the best parts is how easy it was to install and set up. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality, hassle-free camera. Great value for money! -MOHIT ✌️
