Super for helping to keep water in water butt clear. Harmless to .I've yet to see how often I need to check the regular use of the tablets .I bought a drain pipe metal guard at the same time to prevent so many leaves entering the down pipe.

I don’t normally write reviews but these tablets are magic. I thought the water butt was beyond saving as it STANK so much. I added two for the first go as recommended by the manufacturer and then forgot about it and then a few months later (a few days ago) did a second treatment. Today no smell! Will stick to the instructions now and keep going but I am very happy with these and would recommend for stopping horrid smelly water.

This has made a difference but it's early days yet. I think it needs to be used for several months before the full benefit is reached.

I’ve been using these tablets for nearly a month across several water butts and have been pleased with the results so far. One of the water butts had recently been cleaned, but after a long dry spell a sudden downpour washed quite a lot of dirt from the roof and gutters into it. Since using the tablets, I’ve noticed that the unpleasant smell has reduced and the layer of biofilm that was forming on the water has also cleared. Easy to use and, based on my experience so far, they seem to be doing a good job of keeping stored rainwater in better condition.

Had green water in my water butt, put2 x tablets in as instructed, couple of days later still a bit green, added another tablet now water is pretty clear. Will keep adding 1 a week and hopefully keep the water usable

Recojo agua de lluvia para regar mi huerto en verano y para complementar el agua del estanque de los patos. Tengo 2.000 litros de agua almacenados para utilizarla cuando deja de llover. Desde que uso las pastillas, el agua ya no huele mal y casi no aparecen algas verdes. También es importante señalar que mis patos beben esta agua. Cuando el agua está demasiado sucia, vacío el estanque y la utilizo para regar el jardín y los árboles frutales. Nunca he observado ningún problema, por lo que, respetando la dosis recomendada, las pastillas no parecen ser tóxicas para reutilizar el agua de esta manera.
