**Q: Does this help reduce hard water scaling in my kettle and other appliances ?**
A: I am in a hard water area & previously used the Britta filter system, which didn’t reduce the scaling hardly at all. Since changing over to the Waterdrop system I've found the scaling has reduced by approx 80%. Definitely a marked improvement, & would advise you try this. Hope this answers/helps you.👍🏻

**Q: Where can I buy a replacement light? The light doesn't come on anymore. I've tried resetting it but no luck.**

Thanks for your choosing our pitcher. Regarding this issue, may I suggest that you try to follow these steps first:
1.Take the indicator out from the lid and then reinstall it;
2. Press the button 6 times in a row (NOTE: don't hold the button);
3. Press and hold the button for at least 5 sec until it flashes blue.

If the problem persists, please contact us via email: service@ecolifefilter.com, we will send you a new indicator replacement.

**Q: I just changed the filter for the first time, it worked find for the first couple of days and then stopped letting water through, what should I do?**
A: Hi, fill up a jug that's large enough for you to submerge the filter in and shake it around for a few minutes. If it persists it sounds like you should try and get a replacement.

**Q: Can the lid of this be used without the filter? I just want a large lidded jug for my fridge door.**
A: Yes. The jug can be used separately

This water filter is excellent The filtered water tastes crisp and clean and the filtering process is quite quick. Can’t comment yet on length of filter life.We are delighted with the appliance.Looks good on the kitchen worktop and so easy to operate.Highly recommended!
