It seemed fine until winter came and the 50 degree temperature caused the bag to crack and crumble apart. After reading reviews about security bags needed for sports stadiums, this bag got the best review. It's very spacious, transparent, with a reinforced bottom and sides by the canvas material. The bottom canvas looks like it takes up more space, blocking the view from the side, but it actually flattens out more. This widens the back by an extra three or four inches and gives more space and more visibility. For example, you could carry about six to eight moderately sized textbooks side by side, or it collapses to carry half that. It seems very sturdy and the plastic seems a mix of vinyl and plastic and much sturdier. It's also quite tall, so it can be hand carried or shoulder carried.
