These Elbow Pads are really comfortable and don't feel too heavy or hot. I have not had the misfortune of testing their ability to protect my elbows in a crash but they feed solid and I am confident that they will perform well.

Just got these in, i never rode with them yet but i do have something to say. The sizing is way different then what they say. by their website i was supposed to fit in a small. so i ordered a small. ( way to tight)i returned and ordered a medium (felt like the small. So i ordered a large (still kinda tight) XL is what fit me..... I would go up 1 size of your shirt size to start with.. if you wear a large shirt get start off with an XL and tou would have a better shot at being in the right size rather then following their sizing chart! these are light and feel very breathable. hope they are as good as what people say

These are great, but probably fit a size small. Fortunately my buddy told me to buy 1 size larger.

I’m usually in the size Medium but with this IXS Evo elbow pads, I went one size up even though in the chart it shows I should be in size small. My suggestion is to get two sizes up if you’re going by IXS’s chart. I have the strap set loose and I rarely have to reposition it.Just like their old model knee pads, this elbow pads are very comfortable. I use it on long descents at Downieville, Ca or on a 30 mile trail rides. It’s not hot in my arms compared to G-form or POC. I use it anywhere I go and after two machine wash (air/hang dry) the fitment is still true.4 stars because I had to buy Small/Medium/Large amd Extra Large to find the right size.

Probably the best and most comfortable pads I’ve ever used. I’m usually a Large in Fox and Dakine pads. I read the reviews about how these run a little small. I purchased XL. They fit perfect. Snug around my upper and lower arm, they never slide at all. The material they are made with is super high quality. Buy these pads. Seriously take the chance on them. I’ve always hated pads and these pads finally made me not even realize I’m wearing them.

IXS EVO+ Elbow Pads (L)My size is in between small and medium from different brands such as AlpineStar, G-Form and POC. I tried S & M size IXS EVO and they were very tight! I went Large and test it yesterday on a 3 hours, 20 miles, 3.5k elevation in Santa Cruz, Ca. with a perfect weather of 59* - 72+. The elbow pads never felt: tight, hot, falling or out of place. It just felt like I was wearing a slightly thicker sun sleeves. Yes it has pads and the padding is stiff but you can't feel this when you're riding.Good product! Sizing is wrong. If you following the chart, you should get two sizes up. The chart shows that I should be in Small but Large fits me perfectly.

I received the product but the size is small, I am interested in replacing a medium learning, is it possible?

I checked the size chart and ordered the size recommended for my arm diameter. I checked and double checked this to make sure I ordered the correct size. Unfortunately when they turned up they were too small. I would recommend ordering up one size. Other than the sizing these are a nice quality pair of elbow protectors. Delivery and refund process by Amazon is superb. Would recommend.

Only received 1 elbow pad in the pack!Also, way too small, I’m 171cm and 75kg and normally a medium in everything however this is just too small.I ordered the knee pads at the same time, I at least received 2 of those, but they too were too small.

Mittlerweile vertraue ich den IXS Schonern mit X-Matter Protektoren nicht mehr, mittlerweile sind schon bei 6 Knieschonern und bei 4 Ellbogenschonern die X-Matter Protektoren gerissen und das obwohl kein Sturz beim Mountainbiken. Aufgrund der Belüftungslöcher gibt es anscheinend genau eine Stelle (bei allen Protektoren an der gleichen Stelle gerissen), die aufgrund der Bewegung des Knie- oder Ellbogengelenks zu reissen beginnt. Bei einem Knieschonerset trat der Riss schon nach 2 Monaten auf. Sehr enttäuschend bei diesem Preis - für mich gibt es wohl keine IXS Produkte mehr, auch wenn der Sitz der Schoner als sehr angenehm empfunden wurde. Ersatz-Pads gibt es zwar bei IXS direkt, sind aber schon seit mehreren Jahren immer ausverkauft. Der Support von IXS generell ist als sehr schlecht zu bewerten. Ganz klar keine Empfehlung.

Kein Rutschen, kein Drücken, kein Einschneiden, kaum Schwitzen. Guter Schutz für Trail bis Enduro. Für den Bikepark würde ich zum Carve Evo+ greifen.Ich habe als Mann anscheinend sehr dünne Oberarme und einen sehr spitzen Ellenbogen - für mich ist dieser Protektor nach Herstellergrößentabelle perfekt aber sicherlich auch für viele Frauen gut geeignet. Männer mit etwas besser trainierten Oberatmen sollten mind. eine Nr. größer als Herstellertabelle wählen

Von 4 getesteten der beste Tragekomfort ( alle anderen hinterlassen nach ausziehen mehrfach die berühmten Druckstellen bzw. Einschneidungen auf der Haut ) auch auf längeren Strecken und für Trailfahrer völlig ausreichend.Größe M nur für dünne Arme, sonst mind. L wählen
