This isn't a perfect product but it is a very good one. My wife and I have a Toyota Corolla so if you have a bigger vehicle, this review might not be as helpful to you. Also, make sure you know what your windows measure so you can ensure that these will fit well in your windows. THE GOOD: The shades were a good price, went on easily, fit well, and have stayed on pretty well. (2 of the rear shade suction cups came off and had to be re-stuck but since we didn't clean the area before installing, that is on us.) The day after we installed the shades was quite a scorcher in our area but when we got in our car, the interior was noticeably cooler than usual. This effect was especially pronounced when we also used our windshield sunshades. We were worried about having to take them down at night but we noticed that the rear sunshade has made night-driving easier. Even when the vehicle behind us was tailgating us with their super bright LED headlights on, the rear shade blocked most of the glare so we could still see clearly. THE BAD: Several reviews mentioned the side sunshades were kind of bunchy despite attempts to smooth them out. This is true BUT the part that sticks to the window does go on flat, it's just the mesh side that bunches a bit. This does not affect the functionality though. The main con we noticed was that the side shades seemed to increase the size of our side blind spots. However, this seems likely to happen no matter which companies side shades you use. Still, it was enough to knock this product from 5 stars to 4 because we haven't been using this product long enough to see if the decreased visibility is something you get used to or not. OVERALL: My wife and I purchased this product because she's pregnant and we wanted something to make the backseat more hospitable for when our newest family member arrives this summer. We're happy with this product and confident we won't have to worry so much about our child overheating when we get in the car nor will we worry about trucks or tailgaters flooding the backseat with light at night and waking up our child.

Ok, get ready to laugh. I got these on a lightening deal. They were advertised as a pack of 4 for around $11.00. I wanted them primarily to help reduce the sun reaching my leather seats. So, they arrive. I open the box and see a nice storage pouch which I do not recall being mentioned, but only see 2 shades, not four. I look everywhere (Obviously there is not many places they could be) I have in my hand one of each size. I then puzzle over how I am supposed to get them to stick to the windows. I try sticking them on, but they slid right off. And, ok, I am going to admit this, I even rubbed them on my hair like you do a balloon to generate static. Still, no love. I am getting frustrated and there are no directions. I am puzzling over these stupid things and then, I begin to peel them apart. These suckers were so attached to one another I could not tell each one was actually 2 stuck together. When you stop laughing (its ok, I deserve it, enjoy the moment) please continue to read on... So, I get these things unstuck and yes, feeling a bit chagrined I haphazardly stick one on a window, doubting it is going to stick... and shazam, I am wrong again. This thing sticks like a champ. I am now feeling like a shade expert when I note I had put them on the wrong windows. With a bit of dread I peel it off, wondering if it will stick again, and again.. shazam! It sticks easily. I then re-arranged these babies to my heart's content without a single issue. They have now been in my car, in the state of TN where the sun is akin to a volcano furnace, for about a month. It cut down the sunlight substantially, and, as an added benefit, when I get into my car I do no longer feel as though I am braving the gates of hell. It has substantially cut the heat build up in my car as well. They have stayed in place, do not block my vision, and perform their task to perfection. Directions for those of us that are a bit slow would be lovely, but I would not hesitate to go through the same embarrassing scenario for the incredible results they have provided.

I received the sunshade package in the mail a couple of days ago. It comes in cheaply made "carrying cases," which are ok, but you're never going to use them after you install the shades. They also come with the free sticky pad piece for your dash, for holding your cell phone or whathaveyou, to keep it from slipping. The sunshades that are made for the side windows seem fine. They have that plastic material that sticks to glass but doesn't leave a residue, on one side, so you can just press the shade onto the glass. I've only just installed it, but so far it seems fine, and it fills up most of the window. My less than positive review is for the shade that is made for the back glass. It doesn't have the sticky material, so suction cups are provided with for attachment. It is not easy to coordinate the wetting and sticking of four suction cups at a time, and after going to the trouble, i discovered that the window shade is too big for my back window. So even if i could have coordinated all those suction cups at the same time, it would not have helped. I have a pretty average car for a small family, a small suv type vehicle. So if you're going to purchase this item, take special note of the measurements and make sure it will work for you. For the price, it's not a terrible product. And if the back shade worked, i would give it a better review.

I'm very happy with these shades! I was pleased to see that although they are not as dark as some other shades I have tried, They work very well. This is actually a plus since my children enjoy looking at the scenery as we drive. With these, the painful brightness is vastly reduced while staying relatively easy to look through. The same could be said for driving safety. Even if it's just a quick glimpse seconds can be very important is certain weather conditions, the time of year or day. They are useful in blinding bright situations like train lights or oncoming traffic in the rain. They are easier to see through than darker shades when lighting is dimmer and other vehicles might not have their lights on yet. Which can be worrisome when you need to see trough the rear window. They side window shades are so easy to remove it's a huge relief. I've tried more expensive roll up shades and once they get a little worn out they become a huge headache to deal with and unroll. These are designed to fold up for easy storage or travel. Toddlers tend to rip them down if they are able. So having a shade that is as easy to remove as it is to reapply is awesome. When they arrived I decided to place them on my windows in my living room just to smooth them out a little. Yes, they are a bit wrinkly at first but they smooth out. So it doesn't bother me. Others have said they used hair dryers and washed them. I didn't do this because I didn't want to risk damaging them. The wrinkles can come out with regular daylight heat in combination with smoothing them out with your hand. The rear window shade is a little big for our Subaru Forester. It still works, though! As you can see in the pictures I've attached. The suction cups were a necessity in the situation. I honestly wouldn't have been too upset if it hadn't considering how much SUV's can vary. For under $12 you usually only get two small shades if not just one. Overall I'm so glad to have these. I like them so much more than the Safety first scroll/pullout ones I got when my daughter was born.

First of all, the screen is much smaller than made to look in this picture - in a RAV 4, it only covers one half (vertically and horizontally). You need 2 to cover half a window (vertically) and at least 3 to get some decent coverage Secondly, after on use on a hot sunny day, the sticky bit starts to crumple up making it even smaller. Thirdly, the glass is prone to dirt which transfers to the sticky cling film and so within a few uses, you're left with a tiny unspreadable piece - sun shade whatsoever! Bought this as a gift and was very happy that I chose this set of shades. There were actually 3 shades enclosed in my order. Two for the side and one for the larger rear window. The two side shades are amazing. They fold up and pop out for easy storage and installation. Open, they measure 20"x 12". They each have an adhesion side that clung to my windows easily and firmly, and left nothing behind on my window when removed. I even tried them on my kitchen window and they worked perfectly there too. I really like the fact that I can move them around as needed, and not just have them stuck in the same position and place all the time. Went to the beach the other day and it was nice to place one on the side front window to reduce the glare of the sun while parked watching the water, while also getting a little extra privacy from walker-bys. When folded, they fit into a 7"x 7" case which easily fits in the glove box or under the seat for easy access. You can easily look through them so your view is not disturbed while they keep the sun glare out, protecting you from UV rays and excessive heat. The rear window shade closed up easily and popped open for easy use. There was no case for storage and folded it measured 10"x12". Attachment was by suction cups (provided) which were a little difficult to adhere but worked well once in place. The only real problem is that if you don't want to leave it on all the time, the suction cups have to be stored and cleaned, and they left little circles on my windows. BUT this was an add on bonus and not the main product that I purchased. Actually thought it was kind of funny that the type of shade given as a bonus was the reason that I wanted to try these self sticking shades in the first place.

I ordered 2 of these items and received them today, 11/18/17 . However, I noted that one package appeared to have been partially opened, but I ignored it as the items supposed to be in the package were all there. But when I installed the screens.. one of the rear window shade will not stick to the glass even after washing it with water as instructed. I tried it several times and gave up... so I am returning this package. This package deserves a 1 star. For the 2nd package, it is fine and I have not problem with the sticky mat. I am giving it a 3.5 star star only because I noted that I have to remove the rear window shades when driving because they are darker than usual. I tried and tested moving the shades around to see if I can still have a full view of the back through my rear view mirror while driving.. but unfortunately... I was not happy with the test result. The back shades are okay as they do not impede my eye sight. Safety is a priority... these car shades for the rear window are good when the car is not in motion... but when I am driving... I have to make sure that I take them down as I know it will impede my ability to see the back using the rear view mirror.. Hope this helps.
