I love love these pens. Great for Edc cause it’s metal. Best of both worlds durable cause it’s metal & the ink to write with is awesome. I was having a hard time finding these so I bought 10. That should last a bit.

This is one of the greatest pens known to man. I’d bet an unopened box of The Office DVD set on it. (US version obviously)

Found this Sharpie Stainless Steel Pen Grip Fine Point Black Ink Pen (1800702) when I came online to order refills for another Sharpie product. I'm glad that I took a second look and then took a chance ordering it, as this newer product offers some of the features that I've had to go elsewhere to find. In a short time, this one has become my favorite among their products. it has a very smooth and businesslike appearance, and is quite comfortable in the hand when you're using it. Likes: + Brushed stainless steel body; very professional in appearance + Fine point delivers clean and concise lines; permanent ink + Ink doesn't bleed through paper; truly smear-resistant + Rubberized soft grip; comfortable when writing + Refillable; cartridges are available online here + A true fine-tip pen and not a marker + Excellent value for the price Dislikes: - Why are there no blue or red versions of this same stainless steel pen? Closer Look: I've owned a different, earlier version, for a few years now, the Sharpie Stainless Steel Fine Point Permanent Marker , and it's one that I reviewed. My main issue with that one was that as nice as it looked, it wasn't any more fine tip than one of the iconic Sharpie black permanent markers that we're all used to with their characteristic black caps and grey plastic barrels. The difference between the older one and this newer one is simple: the older version is a marker, and this newer one is a true fine-point pen. This newer pen has some other improvements over the older marker. Both ends are marked with a subtle black tip, which is useful if you have it in a briefcase, courier bag or (as in my case) a camera bag and you need to identify it by ink color quickly. The cap snaps on firmly when stowing it away to help prevent the ink from drying, and when in use it stows easily on the barrel. In addition, the Sharpie Stainless Steel Pen Grip Fine Point Pen Black Ink Refills are readily available here, which after scrounging around trying to find similar refills in the local office supply chain is a pleasant relief. Summary: This Sharpie Pen seems to combine that bold, smooth, expressive writing experience of a Sharpie permanent marker with the performance of a fine tip pen that doesn't bleed through paper. Its fine point delivers clean, concise lines that are both permanent and smear-resistant. The brushed stainless steel body has a solid, professional appearance, the overall feel is well balanced, and the soft grip adds to a very comfortable feel while writing. As this has become my new fine-point general purpose favorite, can comfortable say that it's worthy of a 5-star recommendation, especially for the price. 7/24/2012

I keep one in my office, several bags/purses I carry and next to several chairs in the house. That was the beauty of buying a box of 12. You DO need to click them closed when not in use. My first box cost $27.00 on PRIME & each pen was $2.25 each This order cost $17.89 + $6.98 = $24.87 & each pen was $2.07 each. Even with the cost of S&H, I thought it was a better deal. Not so much now! I don't know if I will contact the seller or not. If I do, I will update my review according to my level of satisfaction.

This pen arrived dry as the desert. Upon inspection, the cartridge was cracked and leaking all over the inside.

So I am an attorney by trade and always looking for a quality pen. I just so happen to be in the military as well and need something a little more durable than the average ballpoint. I stumbled on this pen when looking for stainless steel pens and took a shot at $20. What a great find! The pen is stylish, with a very clean and basic steel look. It is durable and fits perfectly in my pen pocket on my uniform. Now, where this pen really shines is writing, super smooth, clean black lines with absolutely zero blotting or bleeding. Even if you leave the pen hovering on a spot, your page wont show it. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT pen. I see why these sell out so fast now. Get one and try it out. I am really hoping they will release a blue version as well.
