Ohio Steel 1084 Pro Steel Equipment

I got these thinking i would use them a lot more than i do. I've since bought a landscaping trailer and use that all the time. However, assisting someone load a mower in their truck, these worked perfectly. they are extremely heavy, heavy duty, and easily managed a rider mower and a 300lb fella. These worry me a lot that I'll get a finger caught in between the two folding halves, but so far I haven't. They are awkward to handle when they aren't in place acting as ramps, just be cautious moving them around.

These ramps are well made and do the job I needed, i.e., run a heavy walk-behind snowblower up four steps to my back deck. For 13 years I performed the cute trick of letting the snowblower itself climb the actual stairs, which it does with varying degrees of ease due to having tracks and not wheels. My new snowblower is 38 lbs heavier and my back is worse, hence these ramps. Two observations: 1) Being all steel, they are a real chore for me to drag around and deploy, because of the weight, and 2) when covered with loose snow they are quite slippery, because of their shiny high gloss paint job. They do have holes with some texture, but not enough for real traction in non-idea circumstances. I've thought about adding teak cleats but doubt if I will. As a test I did put the front wheels of my 20hp lawn & garden tractor on the deck with no difficulties, proving to me the ramps would do fine if I needed to load the tractor onto a pickup truck. These will last a long time; nothing flimsy about them.

Missing most of the hardware. Bent ends on it. Had to fab and weld it a lot to get it to work
