I am far from a little kid, and this is not my first weighted blanket. I have a few of them. I'm in my 60's and I've got a pretty significant anxiety disorder, and have found weighted blankets to be a lot of help.With everything going on in the world with the pandemic I wanted to get a smaller lighter weight, weighted blanket to use when I am not in bed. I wanted something that would look decent folded on the couch and not be so heavy that it would be weird to have laying around.This one worked out to be great. It's thicker than my others and inside is a good amount of padding as well as the glass weighted beads. The fabric is so nice and soft and right out of the package it was soft and comfy. It also had no weird smells or anything.It came in a small fabric carry bag that matched the fabric of the blanket. I'm not sure I will use that for the blanket but it would be nice for a kid to use to take this with on a sleep over. I could see this being something that kids or adults would feel comfortable traveling with at only 5 lbs and 4' x 3' It's the perfect throw size for me. I'm about 5'5"This blanket is warmer than some of the thinner ones which could be a plus or minus depending on the situation, but I found I could just cover my torso area and let my legs hangout and I would not get too hot.I put it to use right after I got it. After watching about 30 minutes of news, I was having a panic attack...but resisted taking meds, and just grabbed my weighted blanket and chilled on the couch. It worked greatI also love the pattern. Sort of a very pale blue on one side and some outdoor themed things printed on it. The other side is a darker grey/blue with a pattern.I love itThanks for reading my reviewBecky Brooks

I dont know how many people are like me and immediately read all the bad reviews first and work their star level up, but I do this for everything I am considering purchasing. I even go as far as to go to the sellers website if they have one and see what that looks like as well.My child has always, always needed to feel snug to fall asleep. He had to be on me or tightly swaddled to even calm his mind. As a parent its wonderful to be needed, but its also great to put your kid to sleep and be able to have time to do things for yourself. That is where weighted blankets come in. If your kid is just constantly stimulated by the world around them and fights going to sleep, I beg of you to try it. You will be wonderfully surprised.So when my child’s teacher messaged me about going back to school full time and needing a nap mat I was so sure I was not going to be able to find anything near what I would need to have my child nap at school. I am still not sure he will do that, but at least I know he will have his calm comforting space with this weighted bag/nap mat. I had ordered another but cancelled it to order this one instead. I am so glad I did. It is so soft and plush, and he loved the little pillow.I do recommend unrolling it and giving it a good shake while holding the bottom to make the weight distribute more evenly. So far it is a success for us. I hope this review helps ease someone’s mind about their purchase, it was more expensive than the generic nap mats, but it makes up for it with peace of mind.My only problem with this purchase is the link for the warranty registration does not work, and I would like to sign up for it.

My 2 year old asd child had such a hard time sleeping. He would wake up at 3am and start kicking, stops and kicks a few hours till morning. I decided to buy this even tho the weight is higher then recommended for my twins. I made sure he was able to push the blanket off before using it. I sleep next to him as well.the first night he was whining a bit but no kicks! Id like to add that i live in california and the weather is usually warm. Its been cold for the past few days so he would still get cold with it on so i had to add another thin blanket on him. So now i need to save money and buy another for my other son. I wish these blankets were cheaper but its amazing!. The weight distribution is good; ive never owned or used a weighted blanket before so i cant compare. The little beads all slide down when u lift the entire blanket in its little compartments. I can also hear the beads when i tap my kids to sleep.

My daughter has had trouble keeping her regular blankets in place throughout the night and so the idea of a blanket that kept the other ones in place and reduced movement was ideal.This blanket was exactly what she needed! High-quality fabric and stitching, very soft and cute pattern, it also washes well which was a concern at first. I washed it and dryer it with no problems with the machine or dryer. Just make sure you lay it flat on something for a few hours to air dry and then put it in the dryer by itself on LOW temperature.

Not too heavy and not too big got this one for my 8 year old and she loves the design she feels secure and doesn’t get over heated when using it

So far we are very pleased with this, my daughter slept great with this last night. It’s a good weight, soft, and well made...and it was so nice to find a cute print that matched her new room. Very happy we found this for her!...update... we are still very happy with her weighted blanket, and she uses it every night. We received a matching weighted sleeping bag, and the calming effects it has on her are remarkable. Reduces her anxiety and restlessness! Very excited to try it out and see how it helps her sleep away from home. Item is as described and a good size for my 8 year old on his single bed.

nos encanto , mi hija de 5 años la disfruta mucho y duerme muy bien por la noche. el diseño es muy bonito, tiene doble vista. Peda aprox 3 kilos.
