Exactly what I needed - recommend for 1/2 inch bore
I needed a fast replacement for a previously installed viewer on an old front door which has a 1/2 inch bore. I had ordered one before that stated 1/2 inch diameter, BUT the bore was 9/16 inch so it did not fit. This one is a 1/2 inch bore, so was a perfect fit and installed in seconds, no tools needed. While I would have preferred one with a cover over the peephole, this exactly fits, the quality is good especially considering the price, and the view itself is clear. Arrived quickly as confirmed and in perfect shape. Very happy.

Just what you need
I bought this for my chicken coop so I could check up on the gals without interrupting them. It was easy to install and it works very well. It is a great value for the money.

Easy to install with drill

Falls apart
Like other shoppers had reported, this item fell apart as soon as the plastic bag was opened and the lenses fell out. Knew the risk, but ordered it anyway because it was one of the only ones with a 1/2” bore size. Sending it back. Will go with another size and open up the hole in the door.

Works great.
This door peeper/viewer is for a 1/2 inch hole, so be sure you know the size of the hole before buying; otherwise you'll have to drill out a larger hole. I found this door peeper to be a little more wide-angle than the original, which was quite old. Happy with purchase.

Easy
I installed this incredibly easy. It took no time at all. It was incredibly simple and it fits perfect!

All you need
I bought these to mount on a pair of metal doors. One with a decorative wood laminate on one side.Of course these are a simple installation but when done, they sat flush when done and looked quite nice.The field of view was enough that no one would be able to hide and was nice and clear even taking into account the expected fisheye distortion.

Not as clear as I was hoping.
Very easy to install, however it’s not a clear image when you use it. Sometimes you need to spend a little money to get better quality.
