Better ingredients, safer for you and the environment, protection from brutal sun... what's not to like? I am really loving this one. My skin approves, and that is hard to do. Most sunscreens break me out, bleep off my skin to no end. It got so bad that I just stay away from the sun so I don't have to use any of the stuff that my skin obviously don't get along with. Well, this one is very my crazy skin friendly! Yay! I just use it for my face most of the time, because I can't use anything else there. And it works beautifully for me! No break outs, no irritations of any kind. Ah-mazing!My skin is dry, and most sunscreens additionally dry it out, too. Not this one. I still use my moisturizer under it, but the sunscreen itself is not drying at all. It is thick, yes. It needs really working it into your skin. You can't just slap it on like chemical sunscreens, and don't even expect that from a mineral sunscreens. I mean, what the what, people?! Mineral sunscreens are usually thicker, you need to massage them into your skin properly, and they can leave a white cast on your skin, yes. I don't see any on me, but then, I am very fair so maybe it's not showing on me. ( I am pretty sure there is no any after thoroughly massaging it into my skin, though. It starts out very white and I can see it being so very white even on my very fair skin.... But after I massage it into my skin, the white cast is gone. ) So keep that in mind when choosing your sunscreen. Not all of them will leave the white cast, but some of them can.I am very fair and burn in minutes when out in the sun. This protects me perfectly. Never once I've burned so far and I've been using this sunscreen for over a year now. ( I do re-apply mind you. ) Not even on our vacay in Mexico where we had a lot of activities and all day adventures outside in the hot, brutal, Mexico sun! So, I'd call it a win! Except... it doesn't play nicely with my makeup. I can't use it under my makeup. That makes me sad. I suppose it is way too thick and heavy for that. It dissolves my foundation and make everything look like crap. Oh well, I guess nothing is ever perfect.It has a faint, pleasant scent. Nothing offensive. At least not to me. I've come to love the scent, actually, because I associate it with good times in the sun! Which this sunscreen made possible! I just wish they made it in a much, much larger packaging so I can bathe in it when needed. xD I use this tiny tube for the face, neck, and décolleté only most of the time...

My family has sensitive skin and cannot use neutrogena or other standard sunscreens. This is one of the few that works wonderfully due to the non-nano zinc ingredient. We all use it on our faces and my children and husband do not have the same allergic reaction they have to other products while having no sunburn or skin damage.

Not over-powering in any way. Also worth noting - when I put this on my daughter, it rubs in cleanly and there's not a white film or residue on her skin.This is a great product from an outstanding company that cares about what you're putting on your kids and/or family members.I highly recommend this sunscreen!

I bought 5 different kinds of physical sunblock/zinc sunscreens last year, trying to find one that would leave as little white cast as possible, that I didn't react to, and would work. I did find one but the scent (which was actually great smelling) reacted on my skin, so it was either ghostly cast white, or red rash after from reacting. So far I've used this 3 times, to work in the yard, for 5-6 hour stints at the worst timing for sun exposure. NO sunburn, no reaction, it's a lovely very subtle sunscreen scent, and, where I missed a spot, I burned bad enough to peel (note to self, have kids or hubby double check my applications in hard to reach spots!). On top of it, the price point was well worth it to me. Super happy with this product. I haven't checked to see if it transfers to clothing like other physical blocking/zinc sunscreens, but I haven't noticed it either on black shorts or tops, etc. That's another win to me!

Great barrier sunscreen, does not use harsh compounds that penetrate deep into skin

This sunblock works well and protects your skin if you use enough of it, and reapply after 2 hours (you know, like all sunblocks!). It’s a little harder to apply than conventional sunblock so you have to work it into skin. Small price to pay to save the coral, I say! Although this is for kids, it protected this 40-something kid. My only issue was my upper lip area, ie mustache part. It was pretty much impossible to prevent it from looking weirdly white. I thought it was my vacation stubble, but it was still there after I shaved. It wasn’t quite as bad as the thinksport stuff, it it was still pretty noticeable. I imagine if you’re a hairy sort of person, this is going to be nightmare for you.
