Really great flavors and great price

I have never liked the "traditional" cocoas that are sold in stores. They're just not flavorful enough. Rarely, I will find one in a coffee shop that will be to my liking. My workplace had Ghirardelli's Cocoa Packets in the kitchen in the past but somehow or other, they just didn't agree with me. But I've finally found two products available on Amazon (after trying several other off-brands) that I really like and one of them is Total Indulgence. The name alone might be enough to make you think twice about buying it but trust me, it's really good cocoa. The other product I like is Treehouse Originals, but it's $3.00 per packet versus $0.50 for Total Indulgence. So, no question about which one I'll be buying more of in the future! As I do not drink coffee or tea hardly at all, cocoa has always been my personal passion for a hot drink, and I can definitely appreciate it when I have a cup that's really good. For literally decades, there was just nothing you could buy outside a coffee shop that was any good. Anyone remember those Nescafe coffee-cocoa hybrid-type drink mixes that were so popular? Those were as good as anything got. Thankfully there are some good ones like Total Indulgence, for an affordable price, now available.

This chocolate is so rich I make two cups out of each packet. I put the powder in a large microwavable mug with a cover, warm about two cups of milk and water and stir it into the powder, and pour half into an uncovered mug. I can serve two people or save half to rewarm the next day.

I make my own breakfast shakes using a number of VERY healthy, but not great tasting products. So after mixing all the rather average tasting powders and supplements together, I add ⅓ packet of Total Indulgence Hot Chocolate mix in to my daily ice-cold breakfast shake and I actually enjoy it! I get the all the nutrients I need but don't like the taste of, using only ⅓ packet a day! Makes it very affordable!The nutritional content of the Total Indulgence mix alone would not pass my current standards, but adding ⅓ pkt makes the rest of the healthy but not tasty ingredients very palatable! Years ago I would have used the whole packet. But watching health and weight now.

Too strong not for me

It's happened with all the flavors I've tried. Take that first sip and there's some effervescence, so that's weird. Not overly sweet and does not have the "thickness" that a cocoa has. I will try mixing it with coffee. But I won't be buying it again.

I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much when I first tried this hot cocoa mix, but boy was I in for a treat! It's like a warm, chocolaty hug in a mug. And let me tell you, this stuff is rich. Like, 'eat-a-few-spoonfuls-and-you're-good-for-the-day' rich. But that's why I love it. I was lucky enough to discover it in a Christmas gift and now I'm a fan for life. The only downside? It's pretty thick, but hey, I'll take a thick, rich hot cocoa over a weak and watery one any day. And the best part? It comes in bulk, so I never have to go without my warm, cozy mug of indulgence. I've tried a lot of different hot chocolates in my day, but this one takes the cake. No, the entire bakery. I'm not just saying that, I really do love it. So, if you're looking for a rich and decadent hot cocoa experience, look no further. Trust me, you won't regret it.

One packet makes a big mug of good, strong hot cocoa. Many others taste like watered-down chocolate at best. I mixed with water and it was some of the best hot cocoa I've ever had!!! I bet if I used milk it would be even more amazing!! I'm pretty sure I hit a great sale cause $13 for 44 packets was less expensive than most others...that I know from tasting, aren't nearly as good!! Should be in every pantry where the weather gets cold and/or rainy!!
