These have absorbed A LOT of water in each of the locations I placed them over the past month. The Vacplus in my truck has made a huge difference in reducing internal moisture. Now, I live on the tropical island territory of in American Samoa in the south Pacific. Humidity here reaches over 95% for more than 8 months of the year. We get about 120 inches of rain each year. This brand of moisturizer works as well as that “name brand” moisturizer and for less money. I put one in our 3 season room , while gets that damp smell over the winter and the smell was gone in a couple of days. We have ordered this product a couple of times and will continue to do so. Works like a dehumidifier but way less expensive. Works slowly but they fo work. Been using them in my basement for years. Great find.

So I bought these months ago because the one with the blue lids were out of stock thinking it would be the same just that it had charcoal to control odor. Didn't really need that extra but hey it was still nice. Each one I used had its white stuff turn solid as a rock. It should have liquified as per description but it looks like it just retained the moisture and stopped there. So I just keep on checking every so often to see if they're solid and I just throw them away when it is. I bought 2 boxes and sadly I still have one box to go. I'll be going back to the blue ones after this.
