Best popcorn with minimal effort!
We love our whirly pop! We got one as a wedding gift and love using it! My wife makes us popcorn all the time and has become quite the expert. We bought one for our sister in law who has loved our popcorn snacks and got curious about how we make ours. She loves it as well! It’s pretty easy to use and is very durable, lightweight, and well worth the effort to make a good batch of healthier popcorn. It has held up great with our many uses and pops a pretty big batch with ease!

Fantastic popcorn machine
My first one was used at least once a week for the past 10 plus years or so. I decided to replace it because the nylon gears had worn down and the handle to spin the popcorn got a little bent after ten plus years of use. The nylon gears seem to be the weak point but I was still able to use it for a while. I found out today while registering my new Whirley pop that they sell replacement nylon gears for $4.99. The one I received today is identical in terms of construction to the one I purchased ten plus years ago. It makes popcorn that tastes better than the stale movie theater popcorn. It’s easy to use. You add the popcorn kernels, flavorcol and olive oil. Spin with the handle a couple turns to mix it. Then wait for it to start popping then spin some more till the popping slows down or you feel resistance from spinning. It makes great tasting popcorn. While everything else is worse quality, it’s great to know I can depend on this company to still make quality products. Here’s a picture comparing my old and new Whirley pop.

Best in the market!!
This pot is amazing. Super easy to use and it you follow a simple ratio of kernels to oil you’ll never have left over I popped kernels. This is a great value for you money and never accept anything less than the best whirlly pop is the best. Cleans up very nicely. The size is perfect for 3 people servings easy. 1 for me. I low. Popcorn amazing materials and craftsmanship and looks amazing.

Worth every penny!
One of my goals in life has been to be able to make Disneyland/world popcorn at home. Disregarding the fact that everything tastes better at Disney no matter what it is, Disney makes the. Best. Popcorn. Yeah, I know deep down they make it delicious and salty on purpose as a ploy to get you to buy $5 20 oz bottles of water/soda, but regardless even if you're not really a popcorn fanatic you have to admit the Disney popcorn can't be beat. Anyway, the Whirlypop makes as close as you're going to get at home without buying a whole full on popcorn cart. Almost every kernal gets popped, and 1/2 cup of popcorn is enough to satisfy my 3 young boys and me. If DH joins us we normally make 2 batches. It really is super easy, my 5 year old is the designated "whirler" and he loves it. It really only does take max 3 minutes depending on your stove to get a generous amount (guessing 7-10 cups of popped corn) of popcorn done. It's decently easy to clean with some soapy water and a sponge. My only complaint is there's no hole in the handle so I can't put it on the pot rack. My recipe is thus: Heat 3 Tbsp (one very generous spoonful) of ghee in the pot until it's hot. Add 1/2 cup popcorn kernals and roughly 1/2 Tbsp of Flavovol popcorn seasoning. Whirl until popped and serve. It's amazing. Far superior to microwave popcorn and air popped. Note you must use GHEE (clarified butter) plain butter will burn in about 30 seconds. You can also use butter flavored popcorn oil, but I find the ghee to be far superior. If you're a popcorn enthusiast or just a popcorn dabbler this is the popper for you! (You can also buy Flavovol on Amazon, but remember a LITTLE bit goes a LONG way)

Perfect popper! Easy to use! Easy to Clean!
We love this popper! So easy to make fresh popcorn. Easy to clean. We use it every night. Do not wash in dishwasher aluminum will come off. Looks bad. Simple soap and warm water works perfectly. No more yucky microwaveable popcorn bags 🤢

Very good, but less convenient than air poppers
I bought this after seeing it listed on several credible websites as the best popcorn maker. This device is a clever way to improve stovetop popcorn popping, making it foolproof. The lid keeps popcorn and oil from flying out, but vents prevent the popcorn from getting overly moist. The crank prevents the popcorn from getting burnt. For anyone who loves making popcorn on the stove, this is a great improvement. Assuming you're comfortable getting a $40 pot that only makes one thing - popcorn. But... It isn't as convenient as air poppers, like the Poplite. It's a little more effort to set up and use (although that's still fairly simple). Cleaning is annoying though. It is not dishwasher safe, so it must be thoroughly cleaned by hand every time you use it. And the lid, with its rods and wires, is annoying to clean in a sink. Compared to that, an air popper is convenience itself. The manual lists a lot of "don't"s: don't preheat the burner. Don't use butter in the pot. Don't put in the dishwasher. What about the actual popcorn? Compared to an air popper, I feel like this makes popcorn that is slightly crunchier. I like it a little better. But I made popcorn with this and an air popper and kept going between both kinds of popcorn side by side - in the end, the difference is minimal. So even if the popcorn made this way is SLIGHTLY better, I prefer convenience, so I returned this item. My recommendation to the manufacturer: figure out how to make this dishwasher safe.

Perfect Popcorn
Really does make perfect popcorn. Use gourmet kernels for optimal experience. Thorough directions. The stainless steel pot seems a bit thin so be careful not to overheat it and it will last many years. Overall I’m really happy with the product.

The Best Popcorn Popper I have Ever Used
I have been on a quest for the perfect popcorn popper for years. I’ve found a couple of electric poppers that have generally worked well. They feature a spinning mechanism that keeps the kernels and popped corn moving. Most of the popcorn pops, but they are often a hassle to clean. They claim to be designed to flip over and use the plastic cover as a bowl, but the plastic disk that goes over the top never stays on, causing any toppings to end up in your lap if you use the cover as a bowl. Nonetheless, they produce the best-tasting popcorn (and I know the ingredients). However, my latest electric popper randomly stopped working, which seems to be a trend. One day, it’s fine, and the next, you turn it on, and nothing happens. Due to the cleaning issue, I’ve been using microwave popcorn for the past year or so. There’s no mess to clean up other than the bowl I empty the bag into. However, it doesn't taste as good, and as we all know, microwave popcorn is linked to cancer due to its ingredients. I recently bought an air popper, thinking it would be less messy than my electric popper and wouldn’t require oil to pop. However, the air popper leaves about half the kernels unpopped and sends popcorn flying everywhere—across the counter and onto the floor, with some landing in the bowl. I crafted a tube out of aluminum foil to direct the popcorn closer to the bowl, reducing mess, and it does help more seeds to pop. But I still need two bowls: one to pop into and another to transfer the popped popcorn into so I can collect the unpopped kernels and return them to the popper for another attempt, which still yields many unpopped seeds and overheats the machine, causing it to shut off. But I finally found the perfect popcorn popper. It pops on the stove. You add oil and kernels, crank the handle, and within a few minutes, you have popcorn—AND EVERY KERNEL POPPED! It is also easy to clean. Thus, my seemingly lifelong quest for the perfect popcorn popper has ended. The Whirley Pop popcorn popper is the best popper I have ever used.
