It will take some time to break in, but that's fine. I probably wont be needing another strap for a very long time. There was one thing that I had a hard time with was installing strap locks. I have both Schaller and Dunlop strap locks. These, as you may know, have pieces that must be installed on the strap. Due to how thick the leather is, it was very difficult to install the Schallers. It is always a good idea to use a ratchet to ensure you have secured the nut/washer on the strap, but I had a very difficult time even with the proper tools. I did eventually get them installed on each end of the strap, but it took me 45 minutes at least. There was only one thread that was visible above the leather for the washer and nut to go over. I had to work the leather pretty good out in the sun (for the heat to open the pores of the leather) to get them on. I will say that I do NOT believe that this is an issue with the strap, but with the strap locks. In the end, I got the Schallers on and they are on very tight. I have not attempted using the Dunlops because I usually cut myself when I am messing with those... Once I get around to it I will update this review. With that said, the leather is super thick and stiff. I am not sure that strap locks are really necessary. I just happened to already have the buttons installed on all of my guitars.Other than the issues with the strap locks (again nothing to do with the strap itself) I have no complaints. I have already started treating it to get it to soften up faster. I can't wait. I'll get some of these for my kids too. Buy one! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Craftsmanship and High Quality Product *by A***T on April 9, 2016* Great strap. It's high quality and the attention to detail is evident. Thick and feels great. My only nit-pick is that I'm 5'11 and adjusted it as short as possible and it still was about an inch lower than I usually play. I've grown used to the new position pretty quickly though and it hasn't bothered me. It really should be able to be adjusted a bit higher though. I know several guitarists, even locally, who play with a higher guitar position than myself. No probs here though and the lifetime guarantee was worth a few extra dollars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Then just by coincidence I found Majestiq on the web and I realy liked the design of the strap *by M***R on October 18, 2015* I play guitar for ages and I had mine old guitar strap for a very long time. Been on numerous gigs with him and he had never let me down. Now I decided to buy a new one and have already picked one in a local music shop. Then just by coincidence I found Majestiq on the web and I realy liked the design of the strap. So I gave it a try. And guess what…Just as I like it, simple but has a story and it looks fancy and old school at the same time. The black colour is beautifull, shiny and will become realy awesome with ageing. So now I recommend it to all my band buddies and i definitely recommend it to all of you!!! And yes it has 64” so if you are taller then average it’s going to fit you well.You get a thick one layer superb quality leather guitar strap ;).
