Nailtiques Protein for Nails - Formula 2, 0.25 oz

My nails have been seriously struggling! Nothing worked till this. I tried Perfect Formula Gel Coat, which looked pretty, but did not stop my nails from peeling. I also tried OPI Nail Envy (new formula) which totally let me down. I tried hard as hoof cream and massaging in jojoba oil daily. Nothing stopped my nails from peeling- some almost halfway down my nail bed. I’ve used Nailtiques formula 2 plus for about a month now. For the first few weeks, I followed the directions religiously- one coat daily, remove at the end of the week, start again. It allowed my nails to grow out without new peeling, and I could cut my nails back to healthy nail. Then I used it as a base coat with two coats under color, and even added as a coat over the topcoat on day 3. It added shine and prevented chipping. My nails are recovering. They are soooo much better than they were a month ago. I was a loyal OPI Nail Envy user for years. It was fabulous, and I recommended it to everyone. Then they changed the formula and my nails got worse and worse. I think I have finally found a good replacement for it!

Nailtiques really helped with my nails. I had dip nails for over a year and they were destroyed. Finally, they are starting to look better after using this product. It didn't work right away for me, but they look healthy now. One nice thing is how fast it dries.

Applying Nailtiques every other day has strengthened my nails significantly. I was having issues with thin nails that would chip easily. Can be applied over polish as well as shellac.

I used as directed the first time. After that, I wore beneath regular polish. And my nails just keep growing. It's nice to have them long and all at the same length, which is new to me. I'm used to dealing with different lengths of nails due to nail breaks. No longer with this nail strengthener.

I have used this product on & off since the mid-'90s after a friend mentioned it. It works great - I have thin, flexible nails (genetic, tho I didn't help anything by biting them as a kid & acrylics as an adult!) that shred & not grow much past my fingertips, but this formula helps tremendously. Better than the '2 Plus' formula even!
