Is the Philips thermometer shock resistant? e.g. made of rubber. Will it resist falling from cupboards' height?

Hi. This is rubber. I have dropped it from standing into the bath or floor a few times and it's been absolutely fine.

Can the batteries be replaced/changed?

Yes they can, you have to pull the flower away from the display and then you can get into the back

How fast is the temperature reading once put in the bath water?

I find it will start reading straight away but you need to leave it about 10 seconds to make sure you get an accurate reading.
