This product made our dog bloated and have diarrhoea after two tablets in two days. Not recommended.

Didn't work for us.
Shocking, didn't work.

Promising, but the Jury is still out!
I currently have three Boxers and have tried all sorts of grass-protection approaches over the years to no avail, including rocks that you put in their drinking water and another brand of tablets that are supposed to modify their urine so that it doesn't burn the lawn. The best thing I have found so far, is to catch them in the act and pour copious amounts of water on the patch immediately to dilute the nitrogen (which will kill grass if too concentrated). This isn't feasible when dogs free-range in the garden. I haven't been able to train them to reliably use a toilet area either - they simply seem to prefer to mark their own territory wherever they please, even after initial successful training. When I saw these Lawn Aid tablets, I thought I would give them a try, being intrigued by the addition of Yucca in the formula which is supposed to bind nitrogen and make the urine less 'toxic' to the grass. My dogs are banned from part of our garden unless with us under supervision, but have free access to the back end which is in a sorry state after a hot summer and lots of weeing and playing. We seeded it with a supposedly more resistant blend of grass varieties, but it gets so much 'abuse' from them, that it's almost a lost cause.Being an scientist by training, and eternal sceptic, I decided to give these a go with one of my bitches in a way that I can monitor, which is impossible on their own lawn where there is more yellow than green at the moment. I am getting her to relieve herself on our front lawn (instead of the verge) when we go out for walks. I'm not too bothered if she damages it as we will be replacing it next year when we renovate our whole front garden. I will post a photo, but at the moment there is 'nothing to see here' :)So far, so good! No yellow patches. I have to say, I am surprised! However, we have had lots of rain over the past couple of weeks since I started using these, so I need to give it longer and see how effective they are during dry spells. I will update with a progress report after a few months. For big dogs, they work out quite expensive as I would need for chews a day, each, meaning that one tub would last 30 days - and all three dogs I would need to spend £50 per month. However, if they prove that they really are effective, it may be an option to save your lawn, especially if you have small dogs or fewer big ones than I do.

Avoid unless you have spoken to your vet for advice beforehand. From the voice of experience
My puppy had no hesitation in eating these chews and always thought they were a treat. However, I cannot recommend their use and would advise you to avoid unless you have discussed using them with your vet beforehand. Within days of using this daily my pup developed issues with their bladder and possibly bowel. Maybe it was coincidence but I don't think so, since nothing in the diet had been changed apart from adding these to try and save my lawn. It was absolutely awful and I would never use again or advise anyone to use products like these. Please take my advice. Avoid unless you have spoken to your vet for advice beforehand. It just isn't worth it.

Needs to get into the system, good product and excellent benefits
I haven’t a lawn as such where my two dogs can go toilet, I usually take them in the fields. So the next best thing was to take my dogs to my mums lawn, as it is a biggish garden. When I first started using them, I didn’t really find much difference, so I feel personally it is something that does need to be in the dogs system to work on point. My mum never complains, but I know it must annoy her with brown bits of patches. So after a little time, I am ready to review and give a better idea. I still believe give the chews some time to notice results. My mum has noticed a significant change. Mum usually waters the grass after they have gone home, to help with the urine smell. However the last twice, the hose dint have to come out, it’s new grass as well. My SBT is just over 14 years old and on several vitamins, this has to be a winner so far. Pet science is a respectable product that I am happy to review via vine. My dogs love the taste, and always begging me for more. As I say early days, but I feel confident the more I use, the better the overall grass will be. Please check the ingredients against any other vitamins or medications your dog may be on. Thank you
