NOW Supplements, Green Tea Extract 400 mg with Vitamin C, 250 Veg Caps

Because of my work schedule and other responsibilities, I feel I'm always low on energy and constantly need a boost of energy. I usually resort to a coffee; however, this has become an expensive habit over the years and I wanted to try something that would be a little more subtle. Hence, green tea in a bottle. Let me preface by saying I don't mind drinking green tea like a normal person, however there have been moments I just don't have the time to prepare my teapot and enjoy a drink. These take away the hassle and not only save you time but money as well. They are wonderful and easy to swallow. I don't use them all the time as I'm also cautious with how much caffeine I consume considering I suffer from GERD. The times I have taken these, they have been great. I will only consume 1/day. I've never been one to become jittery or have any physiological response from caffeine so I was glad these also didn't cause any of these side effects. The best part? They're effective and subtle. They kick in without you knowing and just at the right time too. You feel alert and are suddenly capable of taking over the world. Honestly, it's a great product with a fair price and no side effects. I'm glad I tried these and if you're not sensitive to caffeine, you will too!

Long story short I had/have prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate) and my doctor prescribed a anti-biotic along with recommending that I take a vitamin high in Sylenium and Licopene, which I had already been doing for well over a year before being diagnosed by taking a mutli-vitamin supplemental. Additionally my Doctor recommended abstaining from red wine, beer and spicy food (now I must confess this I did not do very well, who can?) After the antibiotics were used up the symptoms lessoned but did not entirely go away. My PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) level was constant (no increase or decrease) but the Dr. said to just monitor it every year or so and continue taking a multi-vitamin on a daily basis. After reading many online stories of others with Prostatitis, some articles suggested that taking an anti-oxident (like Green Tea Extract) could make things much more comfortable by reducing the inflamation effect. Armed with that knowledge I decided to give it a shot and bought two bottles of this product and three weeks later my protstatis syptoms significantly decreased. Upon my annual checkup with my Doctor I mentioned to him that I continued to take a multi-vitamin and in addition to that Green Tea Extract as well and told him my results. He told me that taking any anti-oxidents is highly recommended and he recommended that I continue taking the Green Tea Extract. Fast forward, I still take my other multi-vitamin and when I ran out of this product for one week I noticed that my prostatitis was coming back...As soon as I started taking it again the symptons went away almost immediately. Currently I am taking 1 pill a day but may up it to 2 pills a day like someone else recommended. I take mine currently in the morning..If I take it in the evening I am not able to go to sleep on time. I am not saying that this pill will cure your prostatitis but for me it helped make life a LOT more comfortable plus its an all natural product which scored bonus points with me. I will say that over the course of 1 year when I started to taking this product I have lost 30 lbs...But I don't know if that was due to changing my eating habits (eating healthier now) or if Green Tea Extract was the main cuprit. Physically speaking, I have done about the same amount of excercise over that time (pretty active). Either way, since taking this product I feel much better, have more energy, much more focused and alert than I was before and most of all no, or very little, symptoms of Prostatitis. Try a bottle and give yourself a few weeks before passing judgement on this product, be it for weightloss, overall well-being or lessoning inflamation effects. Cheers! John

Now's Green Tea Extract is not only priced very fair but contains a healthy dose of 400mg's per tab so u only need 1 per day. It provides a little energy since their is up to 32mg's of naturally occurring caffeine in each dose. It also provides u with all the benefits of GTE such as cellular protection, helps a bit w/anxiety I noticed since the relaxing amino acid called L-theanine is produced form GTE and also GTE is a very powerful Free Radial Scavenger. There are a lot more benefits as well if U do a bit of research but these are the main one's I remember. I also take in extra L-Theanine as well to help aid in my anxiety, and it works quite well. I have gone from 6mg's of Xanax, 4mg's Klonopin, and 8mg's Adivan per day to only 2-3mg's of Klonopin daily!! The doc's said it would be nearly impossible For me to cut dwn due to my very High anxiety levels, and the fact that I had been on these very addiction drugs for so long!!! The doctors which I worked w/ for over 10yrs. thought I would have to be on very high doses of these Benzodiazepines/tranquilizers my entire life. I found a combo, along w/ nutrition and daily exercise that works great for me and so far, so good. I did have to medically dotox of most these benzo's since these benzo's also referred to and Z-drugs and alcohol are the only ones u can die from while in a w/drawl state and seizures are very common while detoxing of them as well! It took me 5mo. to properly tapper off these meds(and it was hell for almost 2mo. and made coming off hard drugs seem like a walk in the park!) but it was worth it as I was taking on av. 6-8times more than someone w/ GAD(general Anxiety disorder) or panic attacks! Now I'm taking a light to norm. dose and have energy to workout, walk my dog, get out of bed(it was that bad some days) and it was w/ the help of GTE and the L-theanine that I was and am able to do this! I also take DMAE and Inositol & choline for concentration, memory aid and as a cognitive enhancing aid as well. With these four supplements along w/ medical detox in the beginning, I was able to get off most all and stay off most all my Anxiety meds as well as the anti-depressant Zoloft for depression that I've been on 4 over 10yrs. as well!! My doctors couldn't believe that I was completely off these meds for 5mo! I did have to get back on a small dose after a while to help calm myself dwn but wow, Im in such a better place. B4 I was fat, lazy, high and tired all day almost and I tried many times to stop both meds on my own only to fail and get very sick and suicidal so I'm very thankful for these supplements and will continue 2 use them and rec. them to anyone w/ or w/o anxiety and/or depression! Good product

Been taking these for months now and i LOVE them so much. I have narcolepsy type II, fibromyalgia, PCOS, and other chronic issues. Adding this to my daily routine is my holy grail. More focused, sustained energy, and mood is better. Less migraines with aura. Just be mindful of when to reorder so you don’t run out before it’s delivery date like i am right now. You can imagine I’m not so pleasant right now…I’ve tried other same day options in the last week and nothing compares. In fact, the others I’ve tried so far on Amazon have been ROUGH. Since I’ve run out of this one, I’ve been feeling extremely apathetic, brain fogged, and my cycle is VERY off which isn’t ideal with my PMDD that i haven’t experienced in a longgg time since my doc changed my BC to skip the sugar pills each pack. This has helped me with stubborn weight loss and appetite control in addition to my ozempic. Take with food if you experience stomach upset. I will say i have NOT experienced any withdrawal effects while I’ve run out. I’m known to be very medication sensitive. It did take some time to adjust and feel the effects when I first started taking. Won’t make you jittery which is HUGE for me. Just like prescriptions for mental health, you’ll need to be patient to reach its true potential, UNLESS OF COURSE YOU HAVE A BAD REACTION!!

I did get good energy from just one dose which is why I gave it three stars. It wasn't a fast hit like a cup of coffee. No jitters. No caffeine headache. The capsules were easy to swallow and of course no taste. I've drank green tea before so I figured this would be fine and I started feeling my awake soon after ingesting it. BUT, I had an unexpected reaction to this form of green tea. It came on gradually about an hour after taking it. I started itching in isolated places at first. I thougth it was mosquito bites reacting late. Then after a few hours my entire body was itching - thighs, legs, back, torso, arms, neck, face and ears. Everywhere. I realized I was having an allergic reaction to the green tea caps. Geesh - had no idea it would affect me like this. I endured two days of intense all over itching. I had to use hydrocortisone cream and benedryl to calm things down somewhat. So while it works well for some, in my case I had an allergic reaction to the pure green tea extract. My only warning is be careful with anything taking for the first time. All things natural are not safe.

Its effective but powder inside the capsules solidified within few days of opening the bottle despite Cap tightened..now its causing a bit of bloating
