Q: Do the seals get damaged in the mail? I want to make sure the wax is mailable.

Honestly, I have never asked the people I mail my letters and cards to if the seals come damaged. I’ve never thought to. They always feel sturdy on my end though.

Q: I have a wooden furnace to hold the spoon in while the wax melts, would this be ok for it?

why would it not be ok to melt wax in this? what does the method of holding or heating have to do with it? i honestly don't understand the question. are you asking if the spoon can handle the heat? if that's your question, then i would say it can handle, at the very least, enough heat to melt the wax. once the wax is melted you should remove it from the heat so the wax doesn't boil. you don't want the wax to boil because then you might get bubbles in the seal. so if you remove the spoon as soon as the wax is melted, you'll never have to worry about how hot it gets.

Q: Is this "snap" wax or rubbery mailable wax?
