I bought it very recently. Moreover it is not installed inside the bathroom (for moisture to attack it) - so too early to say. The other relevant inputs I can give are: The box said it is SS-304; the metal is magnetic; the chrome-plating is done well; the overall workmanship and aesthetics is good; the round cover that conceals the wall mounting bolts has a crack (stress cracking from the pressings process) - I've installed the cover such that the crack is in the lower side so not directly visible. Overall impression: Very nice item. As of now - satisfied.
