Relic by Fossil Men's Damon Black Stainless Steel Bracelet Automatic Watch (Model: ZR12110)

The looks are amazing and the movement is beautiful to see. The exposed front and back allow for full view of the mechanical nature of the movement. The band is just slightly to big for me but it still looks and feels great.

If you are a watch collector I have 2 things to say to you.1. I am not a watch collector, this review is of no use to you.2. Shame on you for looking at a $100 watch and thinking it will be extra fancy, this is not a Rolex watch.If you, like me, aren't a watch collector of any kind, this is a few steps up from an average watch.Iv seen a lot of reviews about this watch in a different color, so I will write one about this one.Looks: Beautiful, I can look at the mechanisms for hours, im a big dork when it comes to skeleton watches or whatever they are called.Time: Not even going to get into whether or not it keeps time well...Lets be real, you are not getting this watch purely on the purpose of keeping time. It does it well as far as I am concernedNoise: Alot of reviewers said it the band is noisy. uhh... I wouldnt know what to tell you I dont have a complaint about it. Maybe I dont get to play around with enough watches to tell. It only makes noise when you adjust it.Quality: Its all there as far as I can see.

Absolutely beautifully crafted and calming to observe in action.I bought this as a gift for Christmas for my honey. He adored it and would ask me a million times a day if I needed the time, flashing me his watch and a big smile.Sadly, we werent the only ones in love with this piece. Housekeeping pocketed it during one of our stays overnight in a hotel while doing some traveling.We had a good five days of memories with the watch before it was stolen. I'll have to be ordering another one soon.

Very nice watch. The only problem I have with it is that the "automatic" writing part on the bottom of the face seems to be printed a little high and almost looks cut off. I know people don't notice, but I notice and I do not think it's worth returning it for a new one for such a reason. Also, i tend to take it off just to look at the beautiful engraved back. It is a wonderful watch.EDITSo about 20 days approximately 15 days later I noticed this watch started going forward one minute fast a day. I fixed it and the next day the same thing happened. Then as days went it, it was almost like an exponential rise in minutes. At this point it gains about 10-15 minutes a day. I got my replacement for it and hopefully it was just this one that had the defect.

Great value for what you get internally, but the quality seems cheap. The band almost feels like it is made of hollow aluminum sheets. The paint or coating is also quite weak and is easy to scratch. The main watch part feels solid, but the pendulum on the back responsible for the self winding mechanism fell off and is rattling inside of the watch. It is still functional, but now I don't feel like wearing it as it sounds like a maraca when wearing it.

The box this watch was shipped in, opened while being shipped, leaving the watch to rattle around freely in the bag. It showed up with loose screws inside and the watch obviously did not work. I returned it and received a second watch with the same problem. The watch looks great but I would like to have seen the watch actually working. Shipping a watch to arrive functioning should not be this hard. I have like fossil and relic in the past but I will be avoiding these watches from now on.
